Bye, now." Dudes don't know what to do with someone who won't play their game so it confused them a lot. Because I held myself above that standard, weirdly, I have been proposed to 6 times because it made me the ultimate prize for the gamer. I still didn't play & obviously said no to 5 of them but said yes to the single one who wasn't running game. That last one was a real one & didn't ever show me any disrespect. Find one like that. When dudes drop those red flags, just hand them back & move along. You cannot fix them because they need to fix themselves & love isn't worth anything without trust & respect too. If you have those last 2 things, you can sustain a pretty solid relationship even without love. If you only have love, you can't sustain anything because the lack of the other two things will kill off the love. Good luck!

My ex broke up with me in October last year totally unexpectedly in the middle of lockdown (I’m from Scotland). We were dating for 5 and a half years and I genuinely thought this is it, we’re gonna get a house together and get married we talked about babies and names we liked. He ignored me for a whole week then all of a sudden said “I want to be single”. I was heartbroken. Genuinely think I was depressed for a good while and cried near enough everyday for 3 months. Mentally doing better now but I am so terrified to start dating again. None of my friends are single so I’m the only one. I’m 26 as well and have never used a dating app. Like wtf do I do 😂 if any gals have some advice I’d appreciate it hahaha because I’m genuinely so fucking scared

Focus on yourself, are you happy with all aspects of your life? Would you date yourself? Can you improve yourself physically, mentally, financially? Any interests you want to explore? You have your entire life to be in a relationship, now is the time you can be selfish with your time completely and not have to compromise or sacrifice any part of yourself. 5 and a half years is a long time, take all the time you need to feel ready. I’m 30 and been single for 2 years, in that time I’ve improved my life sooo much, and I highly value my independence and will be a better partner when that time comes. ❤️
