I bought the medium tan shade & wore it to work & I think I like it! I did a 12 hr shift and my face looks nice & dewy & fresh still. But my eyes look so tired haha. I used a serum, then my sunscreen first… then went in with the balm. Applied light contour & blush & used O/S setting powder just under my eye area because I knew I had a 12 hr shift ahead of me. I have really oily skin & I blotted twice today. The first time, it was just a blot with not even the teensiest of oil on it. The second time, there wasn’t anything. So I was happy with that, I’m not used to this- obviously 🙄 but it feels lightweight yet I can still feel it on my skin. Idk if it’s just because I know it’s a new product & im not used to it. I used my fingers for application because that’s my personal preference. I used to get cystic acne so now I’m so afraid of using brushes or sponges because I don’t always have a fresh , clean one on hand. I always wash my face & hands before I begin my makeup. I have no qualms about the product so far!

I bought shade 3 and tried it as a primer. I use Fenty powder foundation on my forehead and cheeks and concealer on my nose and chin (instead of a full coverage foundation). I used translucent powder over the concealer but not over the Fenty. It held up really well under a mask and on a really hot humid day but not better than my HG Catrice 1-Minute Face Perfector, which blurs my pores better. Today I used the Fenty powder all over my face and used the DM over it, which did not work at all. My regular foundation is Danessa’s Vision Cream Cover and I look forward to trying those together but it’s too heavy for now.

I watched DM's Teach Me Tuesday and they talked about how it should work really well for dry skin too, which I thought was interesting. They even demonstrated it on someone with dry skin. Her recommendation, as you mentioned, is skin prep.

I put the balm first and then concealer then set the concealer with translucent powder. I have oily skin and I wore it for 6 hours ans it looks great. Its the only foundation I have worn that doesn’t end up shiny after a while and it disnt need a touch up. I liked it

I set with the universal shade and it looked gorgeous ALL DAY. Love love love it.

So interesting how she's marketing this! She totally could've just called it a foundation...but because of the texture it can be a primer. So she was just like, "you decide!" Lol. Great video. Its easy pass for me. I have dry skin and i dont like too much coverage. I do not like foundations, when they settle in lines or become not fresh, at the end of the day, thats why i stick with my Valmont serum foundation, its just like skincare, it fades gradually. But i am interested in DM vision flush blushes and those bright colorfix colors, for lips, also i am looking at wet balm in clear. Have a blessed day 🙏🧡
