Been wearing this for 2 days, and let me tell you, it looks soooooo good on me. I am oily AF, like AF AF. The first 5 hours has great wear, after this my oils start coming through, one powder down and I’m good to finish my day job for another 4 hours, nice and glowy, yet not heavy, no breaking apart, no creases. I don’t know what’s the magic. The coverage is definitely there, I have yet to master that “no makeup, makeup look” with this foundation because the tiniest amount will give you great coverage. OBSESSED

don't know if it's just trends getting to me, but i've become obsessed with perfecting my base. this foundation, the urban decay tinted moisturizer that's going on sale for the ulta 21 DOB, and the em cosmetics cushion foundation are all on my wishlist for my next splurge. i'll definitely be picking up the yummy skin serum during the sephora rouge sale!

Hope you like it. I personally like it all over my face under foundation and feel that it can make any bad foundation look better and work better lol. I still use a traditional primer tho so I wouldn’t say I use it as a primer I guess

i love a good glowy skin foundation mixer. personally i prefer the Auric Glowlust to the CT flawless filter because the lightest shade of CT is still too dark. everything about auric’s is so perfect and beautiful, and now i can’t apply foundation without using it 😆

Hi Morgan! I really need your help to take a decision. The foundation that I've been using for the last four years is the luminous foundation of Anastasia Beberly Hills, 220 N tone (I bought every year). However I am curious about the Yummy skin serum foundation. I've seen that you reviewed the foundation of Anastasia Beberly hills and you really like it. Do you think I should buy the foundation of Danessa Myricks. I also afraid of the tone since I cannot test it in any store of Spain... I think that I will also be the 6 N tone. Thanks!!!!!

Morgan, can I ask what your shade in Mac Studio Fix is? I'm ALMOST positive your my exact shade match but it would nice to have that confirmed so I can finally stop agonizing over foundation colors and let you do all the work.🤣 Findation is helpful....ish. But seeing the products on real skin is sooo much better! I'm definitely picking up the primer, I am so dry. I would love to get updates on how this worked with less product because I really am hopeful it won't look so heavy. I really want to try it but hate that cakey look. I don't mind the extra coverage, would welcome it, in fact, but it's gotta look like skin. Got my fingers crossed!

Haven't tried this but probably won't. I have combo skin so it probably won't work on me. Waiting for the Nars foundation to come back in stock in my color & I have been eyeing the Dior foundation too. I didn't hear any echo. Glad you are all moved & starting to settle in.

So I tried this today and it was weird. I have dryer skin and it looked heavy and after setting it looked heavy and dry and I didn’t care for the way it wore, so I’m gonna try one more time with a different powder and see how it goes but most likely it’s going back to the store. Also it may have broke me out, because when I took it off I had a pimple and I don’t get pimples regularly

Really nice review. I am looking for a new foundation (i need a darker one, since I started to use self tan) and your review definitely helped me lean towards the serum foundation (had the balm powder in consideration as well), since I have normal to dry skin. Smile lines is definitely a really huge point for my decision. But i really would love to see a comparison between this serum foundation and the Tarte sea hydroflex serum foundation. It feels like these too are supposed to be direct competitors. At the moment I am using the Tarte amazonian clay and I really do love it. But since my skin care routine has changed a lot lately, i started to struggle with it.

I have had issues with every Danessa purchase. I don’t think her products are bad, just very Editorial. I don’t feel like they are meant for every day all day wear. Her eyeshadows crease horribly over time but look AMAZING when applied. Interested to see how her base products perform. Thanks for sharing!!

Based on the other Danessa Myricks foundation I've tried, and all of the color fixes I've tried, it's safe to say that the brand is known for high pigment. You definitely need very little with her products. And, that's probably why the bottle is a little smaller. And, why your foundation felt heavy. It looked like you applied way too much. Again, just based on my experience with the brand. I'm still excited to try this foundation, as I have dry skin, and she has shades pale enough for me.

Didnt love it for mature skin- not a total fail, just too glowy. I got it bc I love the palette called The Essentials Cream Palette. I use it all the time and its an amazing product. Hit or miss with this brand.

I'm so sad because I will never be able to try this foundation... I hate when brands in general feel the need to put skincare into makeup products, especially foundation. My skin becomes red, inflamed, itchy and even burning with Hyaluronic acid. 😢

And I have a dry and dehydrated skin so hyaluronic acid would be perfect for me but I had to find other skincare products to hydrate my skin and there's not a lot. I was surprised to find out that more and more people have issues with Hyaluronic acid...

You should let the sunblock sit for 15 min before going In with makeup…. It is annoying but it’s best for your skin! Not tryna sound like one of those people . I didn’t know for the longest time to do that and I had no idea you needed 4 stripes down 4 of your fingers for the proper amount of sunscreen to equal the rating on the bottle so if it 30 spf the four fingers worth to get the 30 for ur face and neck…

With so many foundations offering a light, skin like or luminous finish being available I'm going to pass on foundation. It looks heavy and thick, which I'd such a shame. The primer is very pretty but, again, I have similar products that deliver very similar results. I might change my mind if it comes to the UK (I'm fed up of paying stupid shipping costs). I hope you're both settling in to your new home.😊 Personally, the echo wasn't too bad at all. Love you 💗💗

Yeah… I agree. Also she does have average packages all plastic and often looks cheap. I understand that it gives you way more profit when you lessen package and produce expenses but it should definitely be projected on a price. I would say it’s more expensive than it should be…

Usually you need to use really small amount of her product, but I definitely agree that it’s overpriced brand and the packaging doesn’t look or feel expensive at all. But some of the products stood out for me I wish it was cheaper though
