I agree! I don't know if it's packaged better if you order from the ABH website directly, but I find a lot of online retailers DO NOT properly package their products against damage during transport... it's quite annoying considering the steep prices of makeup lately

This palette is pretty, but it could've been SOOO much prettier had they put cool/neutral toned mattes instead of the same orange/red mattes they put in every single palette. I think it would've complimented the celestial/ethereal theme much better. Plus, not ALL of us look good in those shades Anastasia, quit it, lol.

This is the first palette from ABH that I plan to buy for myself. I love metallic, shimmery shadows applied solo on the entire eyelid, and here we have the option of makeup in this style, but also in the classic style combined with mattes to achieve greater depth. Choice of colors for me 10/10, shock.

Not at all, the pigment in this palette is way better and is duo chrome.. Mercury Retrograde one isn't nearly as stunning.

Definitely not the same but they do pair well together! I used some of the lighter purple mattes from the mercury retrograde with this palette and I really liked the look.

ABH should come out with a companion palette called Galaxies that has complimentary darker colors. Maybe with a beep navy blue matte, and a bright white with a bit of glitter like the matte black in this palette. ❤💕👍🏼

Just wish some of the mattes would have been straight up neutral browns to go with the shimmers. I know everyone says they’re boring, but palettes actually haven’t been using TRUE neutrals in years. (Spoiler alert: warm, burgundy, orange/peach tones are colours!)

You're so right!! I keep saying the same!! Proper neutral beiges and browns in palettes are not as easy to find. Everything is full of oranges, reds, pinks, purples and yellows..

I looked up neutral vs natural makeup. Apparently in the makeup world natural makeup just means minimal “no makeup” makeup, and neutral makeup means soft glam “bridal” style makeup. 🤯 I think of neutral, natural according to color theory.🤷🏻‍♀️

This. Neutrals are Black, White, Brown and Grey, and are neither warm, nor cool, which while Grey and Brown can have warmth or coldness to them, those are not true neutrals either if they are warm or cool. As someone with a cool undertone, I should be able to use a Brown and not have it look Orange or ruddy, and a Grey, and not have it look jaundiced or green. If I do, the shades are not neutral. I see so many beautiful palettes that I pass on because I will never use a third to a half of the shades, which makes a palette that expensive not worth it even if it's was on sale and I could get it for cheap. Because if they don't have opposing shades to neutralise warmth/coldness, it's unusable to me, and I doubt any of my friends/family would want a zpalette with multiples of different shaped/sized pans of the same dozen shades I can't use.

Not even close to a motherships in price...even on sale I mean...you can already get this one on discount at Ulta (I snagged it for $40). I have a giant collection of PM sitting in my collection I never touch (I should probably sell them). I have decided I don't like Pat McGrath shadows... especially the special shades (they are very dry and glittery feeling rather than smooth imo). I reach for my indie shades when I want something extra. I am going to try this one and see how it goes ...but for the price I can almost guarantee I will like it better than Pat.

I remember that glitch that happened I did get 2 palettes for $54 or so when she canceled alot of orders . But I don’t reach for them I don’t know why . I paid 40.00 for this I didn’t get it so I will see . Drug store palettes are $20 25 NYX . Blushes are almost 20.00 soooo make up isn’t cheap

The fact that your palette came shattered is why I'm glad I live within walking distance of both an Ulta and Sephora. If I'm gonna order a palette, I'm getting it either directly from the brand or Beautylish. I don't trust Ulta or Sephora when shipping palettes. I'm tempted to buy this palette.

I've seen a ton of creators getting them in PR shattered as well, so that it's not just Ulta/Sephora, it's they're pressed way too soft, whch makes them super fragile.

Hi, mine came the same way with the exact shades.I was like oh no it is shattered, then i touch that shade and could feel the formula being almost loose glitter like but also a slight mousse texture. I believe it is the formula since they are almost loose glitter like. After i pressed it in everything was fine. I love this palette.

IF I get this it will only be to try ABH’s duochromes. I’ve only tried duochromes from Mother and Natasha. I like ABH’s mattes better than the other two’s mattes. I find they tend to be as pigmented but less patchy. ESP compared to Mother’s mattes where I need to prep with translucent setting powder.

I ordered the Cosmos palette from the Anastasia website and it also came damaged. I had the same issue with the Rose Metals and Nouveau palettes. The shimmers are so fragile!

Mmmm, I've seen several reviews but it doesn't look as impactful as other palettes... actually it reminds me of the UD Stoned Vibes palette (which I own, and also came shattered when i ordered online 😂) and the UD shadows look better IMO. I would have to see this palette in person to see if its actually that pretty (because i feel cameras dont do any justice to it)

its an international problem believe me. i'm from Turkey, i bought my last Anastasia palette at Sephora Online and all of them came shattered. 1 infleuncer here told same problem. Natasha's palettes doesnt have this issue but i guess Anastasia's eyeshadows are very soft. i want to buy this one too but i'm afraid of this problem

I like a matte with glitter packed on. Luckily I do my eyes first though because it's messy as lol. Even when I just do my lower lash line once my face is done I make a mess. Even if I use glitter glue or dampen my brushes I get fallout. Idk how people don't get fallout and when I do, it just smears when I try to remove it lol.

I use a putty primer as an eye primer(because of the only two eye primers I'm not allergic to, one is out of stock, and the other discontinued)and I use my fingers to pat them on, and no fallout.
