I have rose quartz but it’s impossible to layer mattes on each other. Most shimmers have blue sparkles and I mostly use dark brown from for palette😭

The urban decay singles are $24 a piece. Hourglass is $30. Valentino is $32. Stila is $25. Too faced are $30. Dynessa $26. And so on. All of the listed above are singles. It's right on par with the market 🤷🏼‍♀️

My first reaction to Patrick ta duos was absolutely not. Then I started thinking ok maybe I’ll get one. Then I started thinking, brands keep charging more and more because we keep spending the money. So maybe I shouldn’t give in to this expensive eyeshadow price, and just say, NO, sorry, we (I) won’t pay that price. So as of now I think I’m going to say no.

I'm more of a gold toned girl but I like silver/white shadows sometimes. I collect and love my Huda large palettes and will get this one! Pass on the Patrick Ta duos

I was really excited about the Patrick Ta eyeshadow duos, but the price is ridiculous! His foundation was priced ridiculously as well. Just because he decided to put it in expensive packaging, I guess. Really nothing to write home about. The highlighters that took him forever to release are too expensive (and a gooey mess). I'm into the Huda palette, it's super pretty and I know some of her metallic and sparkly formulas are just so good. This palette is super wearable for me and going on my buy list, along with ND Roxa, for the end of the year. I feel like, the combination of Icy Nude, Empowered and Pretty Grunge, I'll cover the whole spectrum of neutral looks that I could want.

I agree that the $42 price point is steep for the singles. The Mario palette is expensive in my opinion. The palette is $68 for only 12 grams. $5.67 per gram. For a comparison, The latest Patrick Ta palette is $70 for 21.7 grams. $3.23 per gram.

I need a few things for the perfect eyeshadow palette...a pale matte shade, a pale shimmer shade, a taupey blending shade, a matte midtone and a deeper shade. A black or almost black is a plus. And I am a cool toned junkie. Soooo, I am very excited for the Icy Nudes palette. I'm definitely buying.

I don’t like PT’s price on the duos, but at the same time, Urban Decay singles are $24 each (or $48 for two), the Kulfi cream singles are $30 each. The new Too Faced single glitters are $30 each. If they are similar to the MBM glitters, I’d be interested in the taupe one. *edited to add that I typed this before the last few mins of the video. 😂 Great minds think alike! 😊

I might get it just for those lol. But as for her stopping making Lg palettes.. I highly doubt this will be the last large palette she'll put out. A lot of Huda mattes end up looking a bit deeper on my eyes than they do in the pan so I’m not worried about how light the Icy Nude palette looks. It looks a bit boring to me online but I agree that it will look better in person and I’ll want it. I love the big Huda palettes so I’m sad it’s the last one.

I didn’t get the ND I need a warm palette because it’s too warm for me. But this is cooler which is more for me. I will get this since the shimmers looks so pretty. I really like the color story. I also believe that if there is enough demand she will make more of this size palette. Patrick Ta’s prices are a bit much and he probably is going higher end. But at that price it better outperform my favorite UD shimmers.

Huda discontinuing big shadow palettes is a mistake imo. There are only 2 brands that I stalk for new eyeshadow palettes. And Huda is one and Natasha Denona is the other. I don't understand why. I'm guessing she has something else up her sleeve though. So I will be waiting on the edge of my seat to see what it is.

The only makeup I buy is eye shadow. I don’t change foundations or concealers much. I’m older 50 and I do my make up every day with full eye looks. I think the market was over saturated with eyeshadow but certain brands I will buy. Huda, ND and Mother were the only brands I bought and Huda’s big pallet were her best formulas I never cared much for the quads. I must have 10 and never use them but her large pallets were brought every year. 😢

I am 100% picking up Icy Nudes. Pretty Grunge is one of my most used palettes and I see these pairing nicely. As for Patrick Ta’s eyeshadows, I am concerned. I was so excited for his highlighter, and I actually returned mine. The glitter was so large and fake looking. It looked like I was going clubbing, not natural or luxury at all. I will have to see how subtle and glimmery these eyeshadows are. If he wants to charge luxury prices, he needs to deliver luxurious finishes. Hoping these are that - but because of the highlighter, I will have to wait for swatches and reviews before buying.

The Huda Beauty palette looks beautiful. I see icy, but she at least balances it out with some deeper shades to add depth. Although the color scheme is not unique, I think the colors are flattering and neutral enough to be very wearable. Can’t wait to see your review! As for the Patrick Ta eyeshadow duos, I think he is moving toward the luxury market. The case appears to be very sleek and more sophisticated, and the eyeshadows themselves look stunning. The color payoff will be a big determining factor for if they’re worth it. There are a couple I really like, so I will definitely be watching for your review on these as well.

I actually don't think it will be. Huda's undertones + formula always work for olive/ tan/ indian/ middle eastern skintones. I myself am south asian and have pigmented eyelids. Pastels have never worked for me. Yet the ones in rose quarts look amazing on me! They actually show up! She has a huge following in India btw, and there are a lot of tan beauties there.

I was lucky and got the Empowered by Huda Beauty thanks to Boxycharm. I love it. I have her New Nudes too. There are 2 shades deep enough to add contrast, but they were patchy, and when that took place, I was still new to makeup. It stays because I loved it so much. I am getting some stackable strage bins for my old palettes. Anyhow. I really wanted her Mercury Retragrade and missed out, but I am not upset but still want it. 😅 ❤😊 You are so beautiful, and that red lip is perfection on you. 😊❤
