Agreed. I really want the Heutopia palette but my wallet is saying wait until pay day & I'm sure I have similar palettes in my collection. When I look across my collection I can create soooo many looks so what's the point? Time to get creative in mixing palettes I guess! I do like the look of the balms but the price point - ouch 😮!!!

I was really excited about this quad but I am starting to pause. That matt looks like the plum matte in the mothership X and I kind of hate that shade. The shimmers are pretty though

I've got the quad and Blush, I absolutely love it. Didn't experience any trouble with bleeding that purple at all. And even I'm mother Pat glitter eyeshadow girl I actually love this palette. It gives me option for little bit simple look which I love for summer. I found the matt with pink skinshow shade OMG! Stunning. Thank you so much for reviewing, I was thinking about that highlither but price stopped me from buying and after your video I'm happy I didn't pick it up 😊 thank you for your hard work, I love your channel 😊

I bought this palette the morning it came out and was so excited to get it.. but I absolutely hate it. I used it once and disliked it so incredibly much I put it at the bottom of my makeup stash. I really should return it but I’m too lazy lol. I just did not like the colors or the way they looked on the eyes at all. And I ADORE her other palettes. I have every single other palette she’s put out, so I was shocked that I disliked this one SO much. It hurts my heart lol🤣

My opinion Pat McGrath shadows blend best with natural hair brushes vs synthetic. I truly believe if you had used your Sonia brushes it would have blended better. Patti just did a video and she used her natural hair brushes and it blended beautifully on her, with tons of depth.

I agree, I use my natural hair brushes with my Pat McGrath palettes. It seems counterintuitive because her eyeshadow is pigmented. But several creators have said the same thing. I switched to natural hair brushes and it does blend easier.

No, it’s perfectly understandable. I much prefer to use synthetic brushes for cream or liquid products, because natural hair brushes tend to absorb liquid more. But when it comes to picking up powder and effortlessly blending? I feel like natural hair brushes are still superior.

Ok. I was watching a different video today and someone was using brushes that looked similar to these. They were from What’s up Beauty? They are uncut natural goat hair. These are super soft. They are made in Japan. I have to believe that it is the eyeshadow palette and not the brush selection.

I brought the quad and Divine Rose blush stick duo. Although nice. The eye shadow looks are going to be similar and no special shades. And sadly that blush was too sheer and didn't last on me,need to try on my lips. I may return this duo to PMG. Thanks for the honest review . Your look was pretty!

I picked up both the eyeshadow quad and the highlighter/balm duo from Pat. Since I have dry skin, and Pat says she uses argan oil in her balm, I figured it could be a multi use product on cheeks, lips, and even eyes for a touch of glow. I wasn’t sure about the blush sticks, and I wanted to see reviews first as to the application, colors, etc. The eyeshadows are very pretty, and as a Pat McGrath fan, I’m happy I have it. Maybe I’ll get more use out of the balm than the highlighter. The balm actually contains aloe, argan oil, squalane, hyaluronic acid and vitamin E. Since it’s the first highlighter/balm duo I’ve purchased from Pat McGrath, I’m happy to have it. I admit the description of the color had me intrigued as well!😝

Thank you for the great review! The glowy-double-ended stick sounded so intriguing but wow, the glitter! Menagerie Cosmetics has a powder 'glow blush' that is 'neon coral shade with a blue shimmer', I love it, I use it when I wear cool pink and blue eye looks and the blush is so beautiful and flattering and I don't need to add a highlighter. They also have the same neon coral shade with a warm gold glow too.

I don’t know but recently I don’t feel attracted to Pat McGrath as before. It could be there’re too much launches with almost the same or repetitive vibe plus the cheaply packaging… and all of that has cheapened the brand as a whole, at least for me.

I 100% agree about the highlighter stix. It’s too expensive and not enough product for the price . I will use it on my lips more then anything and by the way that color balm on your lips looked so cute and makes me want to get that blush color for my lips lol . But yeah I needed up getting the palette highlighter and the Divine Rose shade. I want two other shades but oh well. Still disappointed with the highlight stick . Not enough product at ALL

Can you recommend a brush to use these with? I can't get BK beauty in the UK but everything else is pretty much in stock. I have a habit of using too big of a brush & subsequently look like a clown lol

@@Tified967 well of course I used the BK 109 lol since that is the only brand you excluded. Wouldn’t it be? But I have heard Real techniques makes a 241 that is shaped very similarly and is also synthetic brush. I think it says ids for foundation. But so is the 109 really. It’s just great for any cream blush or bronzer. The size makes it great like you say it won’t be all over before you know it. Maybe see if uou can find that. But if not, a synthetic brush fairly densely packed smaller brush head size and if it has a slant even better but not required. With the description you can find one even if you can’t find the real techniques 241 or Bk 109.

I will not be buying this. I have 9 motherships (missing m4). I have enough of these tons. Going forward, I will only be buying her motherships. No quads, 6 pans, etc. The Christmas palette only if they’re compelling. I have the 1st two. I hated last years.

Great review however, not fair to the brand to use a product as fodder for your “worst product of the month” video due to it not being your personal preference. It seems to be great quality, and I (along with others) do have many occasions to wear the dual-ended highlighter.

Agreed. The "worst" product of the month should have something bad about the product (e.g. creates problems upon use/has a lack of potency), not something that has nothing to do with the product, such as the owner's lack of occasions to use it.

I personally think some/certain creators are unnecessarily hard on PML for some reason, even from those who so call love her…these other brands come out with bad products all the time, like actual bad products, not just ones that may not be the creators “vibe”, and they don’t get as much negativity…

I just think there are some that nit-pick when these other brands come out with just as bad or worst. I also have never encountered poor customer service with her brand, so I can't speak on that.

The only thing I really wanted from this collection was the eyeshadow palette, as balm products don't go well with my combination skin. But the more reviews I've seen of it, the more I think, that's a lot of money for eyeshadows that I already have very similar colours of.

I think it any fallout depends on your personal experience with eyeshadow formulas. I get no fallout with PML special shades even without primer and with Nyx glitter glue it becomes more vibrant. But Charlotte Tilbury eyeshadow makes me look like I have put micro-glitter all over my face no matter what I do. So I understand the frustration but just with a different viral brand.

Guys! Stop wanting or wishing for the special shades, she’s not giving us those anymore. You all should know that basically now her eyeshadows are all the same and you keep buying the same formulas over and over again. You can tell by her launches and the pictures when she first releases her new eyeshadow palettes that there are no special shades in there. This brand is definitely losing its luster and is falling off. It’s becoming a little bit gimmicky and mostly repetitive.

@@J_loves_lu it’s been awhile though. What pallet recently has had the special shades in them and we can’t count the Star Wars Palette because that’s just the older pallet with a sticker on it. The last mothership had no special shades and just more shimmery glittery type shades.

@@Allimakeup both Bridgeton 6 pan palettes had special shades in them … & ALL the motherships have them too 😅 including the last one 😉 she may have changed the formula but they def were included … I’d even say both Venusian Sunrise & voyeuristic vixen quads also had special shades in them too ! Especially voyeuristic vixen; it had the most stunning sparkly duo chrome shade 🥰😅 I just received this new quad & it’s actually really pretty 🥰 but ALL of her quads don’t need to have her special shades all the time IMHO & if price is the issue waiting for sales or using discount codes is the way to go … or passing all together too
