Anytime I hear the word cowboy in a song it gets me for some reason. My great great great grandparents moved out west to Oregon and claimed their plot of land in the late 1800s when the homesteading act was passed. Those few thousand acres were the start of our family history of cowboys and ranching and we still own it today.
