Thrift stores are great for picking up vases, serving dishes, utensils, etc. I typically purchase white/neutral items to be cohesive. Depending on your theme or potentially altering your theme/decor to work with what you find too. It’s very easy to save $$ and keep to a budget if you look in the right places:) Happy new year and stay safe!

Great ideas! I would add 2: Have a back up for the food item that someone forgets or if they cancel last minute. Also specifically for wine tasting, only have unscented candles and not too strong for other meals.
