I've never known men like the two Smallbone guys. They are truly godly examples of what Christian men should be like . Moriah's answer was great. It's tough in this Feminist world we live in to follow what the Bible says is the female's role in marriage -loving submission to her husband . So many wrongly see it as giving up your identity and power, but it is not . Rather, it is simply following God's prescribed method for success in marriage. Not in a slave, Dictator type of relationship , but two people who love and follow God , choosing to follow God's way of doing things. It's so beautiful to see and hear the love that these men have for their wives and their wives have for them . May God continue to bless their marriages and use them as shining examples to the world !! Their strong love for God and each other will help make the bumpy places smoother.
@123Mireka5 жыл бұрын
She probably just needs to know more about what the Bible says and how to apply it today . There is an admonition in scripture for the older women to teach the younger women . I really don't think it's being done in larger churches . Also, she loves being who she is and I feel she fears that by submitting to his leadership in a more traditional way that she will lose her identity. I do think that a godly marriage is one where the female submits to her husband and he loves her and also listens to her as she shares her thoughts about things, so it's not a dictator relationship but a loving submission to honor the protocol God says in the scriptures . She is to honor her husband and take care of both his needs and those of their children. I don't think that that means that she can't work because in Proverbs the virtuous woman sees a field and considers buying it. So she's also a businesswoman who tends also to the affairs of her household and her husband, so her plate is full.

Kindness matters and women should be loving, supporting, and edifying other women- not tearing down like the carnal hateful world. Cattiness is not Christ like and only shows insecurity and desperate need to compete which shows a lack of trust and faith in God. Be more graceful and than that. Don’t be a Jezebel or Salome.

I do that when I am in fact listening and considering what the person is saying at the same time. To call someone snooty without knowing them is not the best way to go. From her interviews she seems like a lovely but somewhat reserved person.

That's such a clichéd passive-aggressive response 🤦🏻♀️ What happened to freedom of speech? Someone is allowed to express their dislike of anything without it being presumptuously assuned that they've been "hurt". It doesn't even make any sense to say that. In the New Testament, Jesus and the disciples are constantly speaking unrestrained, boldly and freely (have you read the book of Acts??) Let it be so. [And please don't say that it's automatically "unkind" to say you don't like something or you discern something "off". That's nonsense. Actually shaming someone for expressing an opinion or not allowing them to express an opinion is soooo UnChrist-like and I pray you come to realize that].

All the best to them but I do find it a bit interesting that as a Christian Moriah thinks a woman taking care of a home is a stereotype she needs to work against. What does 1st Timothy 5:14 say? In other words, she seems to be saying out of respect for her husband and her faith she is only going to only kiss the man she marries but he had better not expect me to be a housewife as that is a stereotype. It doesn't seem like respect or submission to me, it seems like a feminist agenda.
@erikawilliams20553 жыл бұрын
💯💯 agree!!!
@sonnyh97742 жыл бұрын
The world's feminist agenda has not only imprinted itself upon the younger generation, but it has done so on the church as well. My church leaders will barely give lip service to me concerning the headship of the husband, and you can forget about them instructing my wife. They let her do whatever she wants with no consequences.
@RS-ux5tt Жыл бұрын
There is an extreme level of abuse of girls and women by men in this world proven by femicide statistics as a leading cause of death worldwide if girls and women. Unfortunately, many inappropriately use “religion” to incorrectly create male domination in stereotypes which does completely distort the healthy masculine and feminine compliment demonstrated by Christ (which was radical for women equality actually!)
