Ya both are absolutely incredible!! Price point makes DD a lot more attractive lol but the robustness of the BB and beam intensity makes it a beast

Excellent comparison and demo of these lights! The DD definitely has a bit wider of a beam pattern and isn't quite as much of a pencil beam compared to the morimoto NCS. The Big Banger does look like its TIR optics are definitely a tighter beam pattern. Which one do you prefer in real world driving? Do you find either one is shining so far that you would consider switching to a driving or combo lens? I know my SS5 sport's in spot shine crazy far but I have to say I love having that distance from them and am not sure if I would be willing to give it up going to a different lens. The 15° pattern is already a pretty wide spot beam and I definitely don't want any extra height as its just a waste of light. These already almost have too much height to them and even though the driving lens is just supposed to give extra width it also diffuses it slightly vertically giving it around 20° vertically. I'm pretty pleased with these lights. It would be cool to see them next to the BB NCS or HXB and the Driving lens just for the sake of it though.

Thank you for the reply!! So I may try and do a video of the BB drive beam in each the ncs and hxb. I have a single of both lights with a single drive beam to swap out. I will say I did try the ncs in the drive beam and holy smokes it’s a TON OF LIGHT!! I posted pictures on Facebook a while back in the headlight junkie group and aftermarket lighting enthusiasts group! The spots to me do a really good job imo as far as width goes down range. I have a pair of ss3 pros and can cover a two or even three lane road no problem width wise. So if I had a pair of each a ss5 or BB I really don’t see you having a problem with width coverage. The “box” beam of the BB if I had two would make it a perfect rectangle of light shining down the road. Touching back on the drive beam on the BB ncs it made my headlights non existent in low beam and in high beam. It’s a very good high beam support that have distance. The hxb I have yet to try and see but it’s suppose to be absolutely insane. On the ss5 I only have a spot beam so I don’t have any feedback on those other than in the ss3 pro to me was meh and had better use out of the spot. To choose between either or..man that’s tough, I’d alllllllmost go Big Banger and I’m not sure if I’d go all out on the hxb or stick with the ncs. I was very impressed with them! Hope this helps!

Yes that is correct! I did I video on each spot, well a pair of hxb spot and ss5 sport spot as o only have those in a pair
