The attendees should leave their smart phones outside - not be stood there taking video when they should be focused on the seminar. All these videos will then be uploaded to KZbin. Everyone is losing their perspective on what is important - being there and mindfulness of the seminar. Yes we film martial arts - that's our business, we are a movie company. We have shot video with Higaonna sensei at his Hombu dojo, but this is done with respect and his permission - we even ask where our cameras should point. Shooting with smart phones at any angle can give the wrong impression and not what a sensei would wish for.

What that guy did at 3:59 was a massive disrespect, he downright challenged higaonna sensei. What a shame, no etiquette and should have his belt stripped away, clearly he wanted to “beat” the master for the cameras

Jiyukan the uke is not doing the drill correct, he is resisting wayyy too much, this made higaonna Sensei use other tactics to neutralize him..

I don't blame Master Higaonna for telling the black belts to stop shooting pictures and practice goju ryu karate. I know he is upset with them.
