Filipinos don't usually hire vocal coaches, they study singing by themselves because for them singing is as natural as breathing.

Mori was already very good by the time she hit The Voice. However, there is even a video on you tube of Mori as a young girl singing Kareoke with her family and trying out her high notes and infancy of her cries. Obviously in the development stage but shows and supports the theory of singing is in their past time and self/home trained but funny enough no video of her taking lessons or rehersals etc.

First off I must tell you: you are a beautiful lady! Thank you for your great reactions. Morissette is 22 years old. She wasn't born yet when I left Philippines but as a Filipino and through internet, I have discovered that she's not only from my home town but has an excellent singing talent. Reportedly she loved singing and already started singing @ the age of 3 and her parents noticed it. Growing up she started participating singing contests with support from her parents. Even though I don't know her personally, she seems very nice, sweet, down to earth, and humble. People from my country love to sing, even more when kareoke came along. I don't know if her parents hired a trainer for her but she had mentioned in one of her videos how she practiced a lot. Again, thanks for reacting and God Bless!

These contestant "coaches" DO NOT have the time to sit down and devote their time for just ONE contestant. They have many and they have other large obligations outside of the this contest. A real coach is someone who meets with you "one on one", takes their time and doesn't even turn on their phone when they're with you. Sara G wasn't/couldn't have done that, impossible.

I discovered her in the you tube in Canada during the pandemic. Never heard of her before, Never heard a voice like that in Canada and US. Her whistle is long and in tune with the music she is singing. I left the Philippines in 1967. Graduated from the Univ. of the Philippines with DVM degree. Evelyn Mandac who went to Juilliard in music graduated the same year. She did good being a soloist with the San Francisco Opera wig that Japanese conductor. She was also the lead singer in Mikado in Canada seen in CBC television. Filipinos strives for excellence in whatever they Dias a rule. Kudos to you.
