As what Mr. Bernard Fernandez once said to a reactor like you, that you may as well been infected with the Mori-Virus. A peculiar and yet a pleasant strain. And it seems to have originated from the Wish Bus. Symptoms include chills/goosebumps, expression of shock and glee, elongated jaws and stank face. There is no known cure but to watch and see more of Morisette’s song for you to feel better cheers 😊

Thank you soo much for having Morissette back on your channel! "Never Enough " agrees with her. She's handled this song LIVE incredibly and consistently for over two years now! It's a staple in her concert sets! One of the BEST to cover it, in my Opinion😊! As someome who has heard practically everything by Morissette, she's not one I would ever put in the category of an artist who adds excessive runs. I think anyone else who has heard her entire catalog would say the same. Looking at what you have reacted to with Morissette thus far 6 performances (I think), I see you've done two of her Mariah covers. She's a Mariah purist when it comes to covering her ,so she sticks very close to Mariah's blueprint. Considering that, I think you are confusing Mariahs inclination for riffs and runs as Morissette's natural inclination. As you delve into Morissette's performances, I think you'll understand what I'm saying. That being said, You asked about Originals. Below is a list of all her Original material. She also has a new KZbin channel with some awesome content! 4 Uploads recorded during Quarentine that are spectacular! Thank you for having her on your channel again and for your generosity and time in doing these reactions! I know how time consuming they are! @@CalebColesMusic You simply can't go wrong when it comes to Mori. Apart from Akin Ka Na Lang, my favorite among the songs Terri mentioned here is Panaginip(Dream). It's such an upbeat, fun and deceptively difficult song to get right(which of course she did), and as always her little vocal quirks, which make her so recognizable, are sprinkled throughout the performance. She does her fair share of runs in it though, so if that's not your thing you'd probably enjoy other recommendations a bit more. Personally, I just love vocal riffs when they're done right and not on nearly every single/second phrase, which Mori doesn't do, so I don't really consider it excessive/overdone, but to each his own. I believe there's no right or wrong when it comes to artistic taste. Looking forward to more reactions to Mori, have a great day mate! ^^

I agree, sometimes her runs take over a song so thoroughly that the song itself can be lost, or at least, distanced. Not this time. Her dynamics were great, her belts were convincing. It *is* impressive that she can sit in a radio booth with a live mic and bring it home like that. She's a pro's pro.

Hey there coach Caleb! Glad to see that you're well. You'll be getting requests from fans for Morissette's covers of "Fly Like A Bird", "Someone You Loved" and "Rise Up". Please take note that they're most likely referring to the videos sourced from her newly put up channel named Morissette. They're her most recent performances in collaboration with some other artists during an imposed general quarantine period. You'll know you've found the right ones if they're in black and white. I just brought it up because she has older renditions of two of the three titles that I've just mentioned and might mistakenly use those instead of the new ones. Thanks.

She is like a real life siren of the fables! I have never heard a singer with such a quality to their singing as hers. And it's sooooo addictive. I have yet still to listen to a performance where i have dry eyes after her singing. Such a warm human being! If you would put Gengis Khan, Adolf Hitler, Charles Manson, Ted Bundy etc, at the darkest end of the spectrum for what humans are capable of. You would have Morissette on the the direct opposite end, full of light goodness and joy in us humans.

Red - m.kzbin.info/www/bejne/bn7CXoR8hrV1rpI Morissette Amon - m.kzbin.info/www/bejne/nJvRaItsrtykb5I This is what is interesting. Red has a low starting point for the voice. Easy to breathe, easy to express high. That's mostly the singer's choice and it's normal. Morissette Amon, like elanie duran, has a high starting point for the voice. Like an action reaction in science, Make a sound Conversely, there should be a space of sound. Morissette Amon narrows the sound space from the beginning. Breathing is difficult, as if singing while pressing down on the neck with hands, and the throat rests. She looks very difficult to breathe after singing. Elanie duran has less difficulty breathing because she doesn't try high notes like Morissette Amon. I am curious about this phenomenon.

Forget about having to pause for the copyright, pause whenever you want to it's super interesting to hear your breakdowns. And her vocal cry is for sure her trademark and I've heard her a million times and I still like it just as much every time, Only small suggestion I have is to tap the left arrowpad key after your breakdowns for a little 5 second rewind to not miss things and us reaction nerds appreciate it.
