I was fortunate enough to watch this live on a stream when she recorded this. It is indeed live. Four Years I have been slain by this Woman. I have seen her in concert Twice when she came to the US .This voice is real. She is indeed one of the all time best, I agree with you 1,000 percent even after seeing everything she's practically done. Akin Ka Na Lang is her signature Original. With over 120million views just sitting and blowing minds, she stands alone. Her covers gain props from the ORIGINAL artists, most recently from Jennifer Hudson and Jennifer Holiday. She covered Whitney Houstons "Run to You" and Allan Rich the Co Writer of that song heard it and was blown away. Fans are all out here Waiting for the world to stop sleeping on her. Breath control is phenomenal, on this woman....the stretch bridging into the first whistle (G-6 maybe A-6) til the end was 13 sec...the run after while doing the run....was 14 sec...of belting and then down to the softness. Her placement of runs...riffs....vocal breaks (squeaks) to the whistle placements, make her in my opinion, the best technically gifted female vocalist on the planet right now. She's already #1 all time for me. Up there with Mariah, Whitney, Celine, etc. And I love both Mariah and Whitney. But no one I've ever heard, not even those two legends, consistently wow me and give me chills the way Mori does. And this is coming from a huge Mariah Carey fan growing up. She always blows me away and leaves me breathless and emotional like no one else can. I'm always happy when I see new people react to Mori. Not because I believe she should already be a huge international star (although that may be part of it), but because I still vividly remember the first time I ever heard her sing. And for someone else to experience that magic for the first time, I'm honestly happy for that person. It's the reason I'm always looking for new reaction videos. Morissette, also dubbed “Asia’s Phoenix,” has had quite a 10-year run. The Cebuana singer first rose to prominence after placing second on TV5’s “Star Factor.” She was 14 then. In 2013, she joined the first season of “The Voice Philippines” and was mentored by Popstar Royalty, Sarah Geronimo. In 2014, Morissette was signed under Star Music and released her debut, self-titled album. From that point, she guested in several television shows and has reaped several awards including New Female Recording Artist of the Year (PMPC Star Awards for Music, November 2015) and Female Artist of the Year (M.O.R Music Awards, August 2016). Come 2020, fans of “Asia’s Phoenix” will have a surprise waiting for them. Before Morissette’s ascent to fame, the artist worked with producer/songwriter duo Muller and Patton. All three spent time, talent and treasure together, working on a collection of originals while based in Cebu. “In 2011, when Morissette was only 14, Ben Patton and I wrote 14 songs for her and recorded them with her. I always thought that they came out really great. However, they were never officially released,” shared producer, songwriter Jaye Muller. “Now after almost 10 years, we decided to finally release them, in two volumes.” On Nov. 20, “Morissette at 14 Vol. 1” will be available on digital streaming platforms like Spotify, Apple Music and Amazon. The first volume will have eight songs, more focusing on the ballads. In March 2021, the second volume will be released. The second release will feature more of Morissette’s uptempo songs. Volume 2 will feature eight tracks as well. Each volume will feature seven originals and one remix of one of the songs featured from the other volume. “We are very excited that those songs finally get officially released for all Morissette fans to enjoy. Her "Fly Like A Bird" cover by Mariah Carey is one of the most recent she did and is certainly one of her best covers. You will also love her acapella version of Rise Up, also very recent. If you want a live concert performance, I recommend the 2017 Asia Song Festival where she sang 2 difficult songs and slayed both.
