I love these livestream mini concerts during the pandemic. It’s raw and unrehearsed and you really see her true self … fun goofy and full of life!! Thank you for once again using your platform to amplify More Morissette! I would love for you to take a listen to some of her original catalog. As a long time fan of hers, I really advocate for getting her original material out there after people become familiar with her. Even with this being a Musical Theater focused channel, for artists like her to carve their own path, I think their originals are really important . Hearing music generated from an artists own personal take from the start is very different than a cover (don't get me wrong absolutely nothing wrong with covers especially when an artist is able to put their stamp on them) I think one key to shining a more global light on artists especially from the Philippines where the talent is insanity, is getting their own music heard where the masses are drawn to the artist and their songs. Hey Marc thanks for another great reaction. Perhaps you could consider Katrina Velarde’s outstanding cover of this song she created for her KZbin channel 4 years ago. Using very basic home equipment Katrina layered and performed all her chorus and background vocals and i think it’s quite impressive what she accomplished. These are fr her livestreams. Now, those fans recorded these performances, well to gain views for their own. It is what it is in YT world. They don't care even if these performances be impromptu or just for fun or even if those artists made a booboo or not. They don't care as long as they would have views to monetize. Further, you will see tons of these fans using her name, I mean usernames, to entice people to view their posts for just about anything about her. There is one there, even if she is just performing in one of her gigs, this person even dropped that a "Boss" from one tv channel was watching her. Is that a big deal? Do you have to brag about it?
