So much to say! First off 3rd Avenue Band and Morissette are a Match! I hope to see lots of love for them in the comments, NEVER take for granted worldclass musical collabs! You can see Adonis Tabanda here keeping it all tight As a Western Fan loving this amazing girl, theres a privilege in being brought into this entire OPM world. "Shine", while in English still hails from that catalog. Morissette ,by choosing this song, (it was a Birthday tribute to Regine) just bridges the two worlds together. She's such an ambassador in that sense. In my two years of "Fanmoming" 😊 over this phenom I have been introduced to some of the most beautiful OPM music in the World! The possibilities for Morissette to make her way in the International scene, and fuse her OPM roots with her utter command of Western styles is endless! She can literally make her own lane! The first time I saw her sing this had to have been the biggest pressure cooker ever. She was singing at a Gala honoring the Queen of this song herself, Ms Regine Velasquez ,and she nailed it! No different here! This was pure classic Mori, vocal chocolate but with all the best things added, caramel tone, cream and nuts ( those beautiful breaks that add texture!). Thank you Wish 107.5 for all you do, especially the platform you have given Morissette! Bingefest begun!
