Bon Jovi - UK Music Hall Of Fame 2006 (Part 2)

Footage of Bon Jovi joining the likes of Elvis, The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, U2, Madonna and Michael Jackson by being inducted into the UK Music Hall Of Fame, which took place at London's Alexandra Palace on 14 November 2006
They were presented with the Award by Dave Stewart and Kara DioGuardi (from Platinum Weird). The show was hosted by Dermot O'Leary
After receiving the award, the Band took the stage to perform an acoustic version of Livin' On A Prayer, Wanted Dead or Alive (both taken from the Slippery When Wet album) and It's My Life (from the Crush album)

Jon still sings amazingly. Our own Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame should be ashamed. Bon Jovi should have been recognized years ago....Now we don't even know if Richie will ever come back or not. But even if he doesn't we do have Phil X who is his own man and is Brilliant and Bon Jovi Rocks on one way or another. I will always be Loyal to Bon Jovi either way.

Lilian Olivares I think if we could do something we would. The first person I found that I loved to listen to way back in 1970, give or take a couple of years, just got inducted in 2010. He wrote songs not only for himself but many that others sang as well. If you are wondering who I'm talking about, it's Neil Diamond. Trust me, fans were so happy when he was finally inducted and he had been at it almost longer than the guys of Bon Jovi have been alive. I wish there was something we could do because I was in my mid 20's when Bon Jovi first came on the radio. I have loved them from the first time I heard them and will always be playing their music. I remember signing a petition to get Neil Diamond into the Hall but I don't think it really helped. I'm just glad he's in and I'm hoping these guys will also enjoy it as well.

I still can't believe they weren't inducted to the Rock n' Roll Hall Of Fame in 2010, it's really beyond me! How many more things does this band has to do or to prove? Nearly 29 years in the business with all that success, it's unbelievable they still weren't inducted!

Now they are in the Rock N Roll hall of fame but it’s a shame they weren’t inducted while younger and Jon still had the voice to sing at his top game. The rock N Roll hall of fame would have been much more meaningful and celebratory if they would have been inducted in 2009 rather than 2018.

Iv seen a few comments about the band getting nomatied into the US rock n roll band they did get nomated a couple years ago but when they cut down to the final selection they did get cut off and its not anti NJ cuz the boss has been inducted

THis was a great inducting .. but one thing still sucks - they introduced the band as Jon and Richie ... the others didn;t say anything :( I 'm die -hard Richie fan but i feel bad about David and Tico

They cut them out so they could be sure to get all their paid sponsors advertising in. That's what these televised awards shows are for most of the time. That aspect of it sucks. It's great that they're honoring Bon Jovi but screw the advertising.

Considering the garbage that's been inducted into the American Rock And Roll Hall of Fame over good and truly legitimate music changing bands, singers they're probably better off not being inducted into such a joke of a Hall of Fame. It's become the Hall of Shame and has been that for so long. It's political garbage.
