Bon Jovi - UK Music Hall Of Fame 2006 (Part 1)

Footage of Bon Jovi joining the likes of Elvis, The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, U2, Madonna and Michael Jackson by being inducted into the UK Music Hall Of Fame, which took place at London's Alexandra Palace on 14 November 2006
They were presented with the Award by Dave Stewart and Kara DioGuardi (from Platinum Weird). The show was hosted by Dermot O'Leary
After receiving the award, the Band took the stage to perform an acoustic version of Livin' On A Prayer, Wanted Dead or Alive (both taken from the Slippery When Wet album) and It's My Life (from the Crush album)

They are one of the top 5 artists of all time. Other than the Beatles and the Stones and Elvis, no one can say that anyone else is better than Bon Jovi. U2, Bruce, Zeppelin are not better bands. They are in that same elite level like Bon Jovi is

Yeah, well the ceremony was long, and I think Channel 4 (UK Channel who aired it first) only had 90 minutes (or 120) to play with. So they had to do alot of editing.

Bon Jovi was a nominee for Rock'n'Roll Hall of Fame last year, they were not inducted. This year, not even nominated! I'm guessing RnR HoF can take a lesson from UK Music Hall of Fame. This band has crossed generations, whether one likes their music or not, they have to respect the fact that these guys still make albums, sell millions and perform at sold out stadium shows non-stop. Very few bands/artists achieve such constant success in this age.

+ksmons Their Original Bassist Alec John Such left in 1994. Their current Bassist Hugh McDonald, is not an official Band Member and only plays with them Live and on the Albums as a hired Musician.
