I had trouble getting reimbursed for RS activities. It took months and sometimes I was reimbursed for much less than the receipts I turned in.

My husband (with no formal finance training) was a ward clerk and he said he hated the process of reimbursement. Apparently it took a long time because he first had to get the receipts and input the information into the system, then he had to print a check and get two leaders to sign it, then he could issue it. The process often got dragged out when people were out of town or just didn't show up at church.

Must have been your ward. When I was in nursery they literally would not allow me to pay for anything. I had to turn in my receipts. I do live in an amazing ward and am learning that it really is a good ward but I don't go any more but not because of the people there.
