Just read the book. I am so grateful for this brave couple. They have helped me so much in coming to terms with leaving the church.

Love this couple real genuine. I think the church has a lot to learn dealing with things of this nature. Not sure why though. Maybe because they think too many might leave or as the leaders are quite old that's just there mind set. I can see the logic and trust the prophet knows best. Although I would prefer things to be dealt with in a better way.

These stories of these folks- who I’m sure are good people- receiving this second anointing(something I never heard of until recently) has pierced my heart- not in a good way. I’ve been a member of the church for 50 years now- I’ve served in just about every capacity a woman can in the church, including seminary teacher. My first husband served in bishoprics for almost 20 years. I’ve know so many amazing people who have given everything, every moment, sacrificed so much for the church and I’m betting they have never heard of the second anointing. Yet these folks due to their elitist status and money have- not only been hand picked (supposedly by God) to receive it- but also left the church and threw it away. It hurts me so to think the rest of us - because we are just ordinary folks- with ordinary jobs and lives- aren’t even good enough in my Heavenly Fathers eyes. 💔💔

I'm sorry you're feeling badly. I found about about the 2nd anointing and then a Myriad of other scandals and lies from the church. I'm an RM and I couldn't do BYU anymore after I found out, and so I know it can be really tough learning about how the church lies. I hope you know that you are lovely and always always worthy. any institution that tries to determine your value or tries to put terms and conditions on the love you have for others or yourself has no right to do so. there is nothing christlike about the control we were taught to give up by church leaders and their cronies, again, as a missionary dealing with my life being completely controlled by the church via guilt shame and peer pressure, i know. i have realized it not only so devastating what the church does to it faithful well intentioned members, it is also so intentional . the more you learn the truth about mormonism, it hurts, but i promise you it is so much better on the other side out of it. you'll be able to love more without any conditions, and without any man in the way telling you how you should feel, or what you should do, you'll know for yourself. the church teaches you are nothing without it and that's one of their biggest lies. you are so powerful, strong, and full of goodness. you know right from wrong and you don't need a man telling you that. i hope with learning more about the church you can take your power back and have confidence in yourself. confident that you are amazing, kind, a force to be reckoned with, and full of love. The church says you need them to feel this joy, what they really need is you. good luck, you are so 🧡🧡🧡

I knew they flew business class cos Gene R Cook ended up sitting next to Mick Jagger.

Yeah, anyone with 1/2 a working brain knows full well that Mick never traveled alone, never flew commercial, never would have flown anything but 1st Class if he ever DID fly in a commercial plane, and was way too savvy and wily to get into a lengthy and emotional argument with some sap he barely met on a commercial flight. Cook's wild story is perfect proof of just how far afield the gospel of goofy and the standard of stupid can get. Amazing that people are naive, gullible, and delusional enough to believe such a tale.

@20:13 it's true. I'm From Italy and if you get married civilly in my country you'd have to wait to get married in the temple before consummating the marriage. As of this year the Swiss Temple is the closest to Italy so imagine the wait for the members living in southern Italy. It's a long drive

I watched the whole video, I honestly admire their convertion, testimony and the way he raised their kids. I was sad, deep into my heart I felt like we lost you, your service was great, I see Oliver Cowdery in him. I Hope they will be back soon and realize that the revelation exists. God loves you. Please come back.

God does love him and so this Christ just the way he is. When he talked about his pain he was talking about my pain even though that interview was from 2018 in 2021 to now I'm going to the same pain Hans went through. Over 40 years in the church doing everything just like they did and then finding out about all the deception and lying and untruths. We pray for you we don't need to worry about Hans he'll be fine you're the one that needs to be undoctrinated.

the god of Abraham and Isaac is not the god of Joseph Smith. oliver cowdrey was excommunicated for calling Joseph’s extramarital affair with fanny bulger , what it was “a dirty, dirty affair”. these are the words of modern day prophet oliver cowdry, not me.

#Mormonism vs #Christianity; The Bible says it is the true word of God... and it is complete. It also says that there will be no more prophets or prophesy from God. It says not to listen to false prophets or false spirits... even if an Angel comes to you in your dreams. What Joseph Smith did from the very beginning was blasphemy... as is the book of Mormon, et al. Anyone following Smith is following a cult leader and is not a Christian (one who follows Christ).
