"The Book of Mormon is the most racist book I've ever read"

It's so terrible how religious groups have not just ripped the religions away from the people that the come into contact with but also their culture. The Native Americans or First Nations (as they're called in Canada) have had their culture attacked not just by the Mormon church but by all kinds of churches, when the Europeans came to the Americas. Definitely, residential schools (run by all kinds of churches, not just Catholic) have done a lot of damage, too.

It's great that they're finding their true roots, now. That's so important.

It's funny how after a religion does everything that it can, to wipe out a culture, not just the people of that culture but people from all over the world end up missing the things that are gone. A lot of people are interested in the art and culture of Native Americans and First Nations people, now. It's the same with a lot of other cultures. Thanks to religions we know next to nothing about the Celtic people's real history (and no, they were not all "witches"). The "Viking" culture has got a lot of fans, now, after Christianity all but wiped it out.

It is likely that Joseph Smith ripped that hands-on-the-head blessing style from a native tribe he knew in the Northeast or in Nauvoo (he was speaking with different tribal leaders about overthrowing the United States). I would love to discover when Mormons started doing that kind of Priesthood blessing.

🌞 🐬 ⛵🍇🍊 🍇🐝 🌷 The sun, stream's, mineral spring's, herbal's, gardening, sea life, animal's & spending time in nature. I can relate & feel so connected to the people in this video. There are people who are very sensitive to energy & are people who are highly spiritual. We feel energy completely different. It's very difficult to try to explain to people that aren't. Book of mormon is true.. check out a guy named Wayne May.. they talk of culture but dont discuss chief Joseph's attire and his stories that back up the book of mormon.. or of stories that natives have in their oral history that are in the book of mormon.. or about the Cheyenne prophesy of Joseph Smith
