That guy can play an entire verse with JUST HIS FOOT WHILE RINGING A BELL AND THAT IS AMAZING well done 👍👍👍
@SPrescott2611Ай бұрын
I believe his foot work is so good due to an accident where he couldn't play as much with his hands so practiced by substituting his foot for his right hand. Im sure it was something like that. There is an interview somewhere. He is an extremely good musician.

Richard doesn't just want another guy to ring the bell for him. 'Oh, I can do both' he says LOL!!!!

Can we just take a moment to appreciate how the entire comment section is full of love and support, where as other videos on KZbin have hateful and unkind comments?

If I'm not mistaken, this is the Friday night performance ( I was in attendance for all three concerts) and they jammed it OUT!! As to the comment why the drummers aren't more expressive, think about what they're doing and with whom! They're keeping the music in memory to keep on pace with Rick! That's called CONCENTRATION, honey!! Also his second triple in a row: 2016's concert was "We Three Kings" featuring Rick, Clay and Andrew as the Kings on ONE Organ. THAT you have to see if you haven't!

Profound...❤️

It’s not exactly memory, he’s playing by ear and improvising as most great musicians do. So as long as he knows the general outline of the tune, he can just rip. But I would guess he never plays this song the same way twice.

Is the score available for purchase for this arrangement of We Three Ships w/percussion? This would be brilliant for our lessons and carols service. Or is this improvised?
@SingerGuy594 жыл бұрын
This is not improvised. I watched them do this five times and it was precisely the same each time. They were fully memorized and choreographed.

Amazing but I wish the drummers would have expressions on there face
@micahharman14934 жыл бұрын
They are highly concentrated both on their music and on staying with the organ that is many feet away and what Richard is is doing with his face to communicate to them they don't need expressions they have the skill they need insteady
@mckenziebate29492 жыл бұрын
I'm glad you said something positive as well, being an instrument player and concentrating on facial expressions on the same time is incredibly difficult.
