You are so much inspiration! I've been working for 3 years towards exactly what i see in your videos. By next summer i should be there. Finally getting the animal feed crops to get established. I feel like sisyphus until i see your videos, then i realize this phase is not forever. It doesn't happen overnight though.

Oh my gosh that is so exciting!! Getting the crops established has been a very humbling process to say the least, but we are getting a little better every year. Thank you! 💜

I like how you measure ingredients 😂. My grandma made homemade biscuits with two dishes. One bowl and an iron skillet. She poured everything and guessed and used her hands to mix the dough. They did not have running water, so she used as little dishes as possible to reduce the amount of water needed to clean up. Looks like a wonderful breakfast. I know winter is coming. How are you all doing getting ready?

If you don’t measure anything, you’ll never have the same meal twice 🤣 I think I would love your grandma. For winter we are cutting a little bit of hay each day to cure it. Last year I fed our own hay from October to December before needing to buy more, I hope I can make it a little longer this year. I’m not overly optimistic about the chicken feed maturing before it snows, they will probably need bagged feed all winter too. 😁

What a great video! I’m in Melbourne Australia and growing rabbits, chickens, veggies, herbs and flowers on a quarter acre. Looking forward to getting some acres one day. Learning all I can in the mean time. Videos like yours help my journey, thank you! 😊

Just found your channel, you have a beautiful homestead! We are 2 years into being on ours and its been a lot a lot of learning. Love that you have American Chinchilla rabbits! Those are what we raise and the best rabbit to have in our opinion! 😊

Great work! I've never wanted to touch trees so much in my life! I absolutely need to move to the mountains again, this city shit has got to go. I lived 2 hours from cities in Colorado, remote is better, while still having internet preferably. Can't take the country or the city out of anyone who enjoys life ❤

Shouldn't the pie go in first before starting the eggs and sausage? Step up your game.
