I had to run from my hometown to get clean. Drank my first year at new place. Then covid hit. I am sure that helped a lot. Being isolated. 1995 I got addicted to opiate pills. Got clean 5 years ago. Longggg time...

Chris I’m so sorry you went through all of this. I used to be the exact same way. I could drink a little bit at home by myself But if I ever went out with friends (even good friends) I would always do something out of order. Most of my friends drank a lot heavier than I was used to. I thought I could handle it but it always handled me! Just take good care of you. Everything will be okay. Some lessons we just have to learn the hard way. You’re learning your limitations. You got this.💯👍

Try to keep booze to bare minimum Chris, if effects your judgment. And unfortunately, most of the time we end up going to get what we really want whether it’s today next week or six months that’s why I avoid alcohol.

When there’s a Poker tournament with 100k reward, & a bunch of stiffs at table. Eventually you’re going to pull up a chair & say “deal me in” “what’s buy in” …… Not saying that’s going to happen to Chris or Chris has any reservations I’m just telling him you already know be cautious. Also, I think I’m gonna come up and talk to you guys with Chris obviously gonna have to protect my anonymity , I own a Business here and my customers don’t need to know I use to run up in Macys 20 deep & literally give my crew an incentive plan “clear every rack in Polo Ralph Lauren department & that’s 10 extra Ps , 5 extra bars , 60ML.s Tuss” I had it so good I was telling Chris & it still always ends the same. Sick , broke , Jail , Spiritually Bankrupt, & friends dead. No relationship w God , but great one indirectly w el Diablo. I did a speaking , fielding questions here in Pittsburgh at the University of Pittsburgh. Spoke in front of 500 medical Students about surviving 9 hollow points at point blank range kept every limb , use no walking aid , I still play 🏀 ……. I turn down leads last 10 years, did em 1st ten of my be 22years Halloween 2024 & Alcohol 19 years on September 3rd, 2024. every Monday at LOTHROP Hall @ the university of Pittsburgh.. they play that for New Medical Students & im Infinitely more developed now in my ability to articulate a lot of things ALL GLORY TO GOD FOR EVERYTHING HE WAS THE GPS, THE CAR , THE GAS , all I had to do was drive safe, and he delivered me wherever I needed to go.

You gotta be careful honey. Suboxone and alcohol can slow breathing a lot....I found out. Woke up to my hubby hitting me with Narcan. First year here. He said I wouldn't wake up, and was breathing really shallow...luckily no withdrawal symptoms....cuz my patch keeps pumping....of course I was PISSED anyway...maybe lucky he did it? I quit drinking during the pandemic. Now, 2 glasses of wine, I get sick. Like a hangover within 2 hours.....old man cannot, heart failure, better for us both for me to quit....honesty is hard, much respect Chris...you will decide it ain't worth it....❤❤ Jeannie

I barely fuck with anybody anymore because all they do is drink it seems like and I’m more of a protein shake guy these days. I was never an alcoholic but when I drink I usually get really fucked up

Stay home! Work out, and focus on you. One day at a time. 3 years alcohol-free and it is the best decision you can make. The hangovers in your 30s are brutal and not worth it.

Its only natural to want to feel good. Everyone is different and alcohol is also medicinal. Social anxiety is Bytch. When you get older you have to go to different places and do different things to meet people in your age group and alcohol is almost alwats mandatory at these places. the internet is not really living real life. Just try your best to not over do it but it happens. Sometimes it taste better than others.

We all gotta learn our own lessons man... i think you're learning that binge drinking can never go good. If you can't have one drink without going all the way its probably safe to say you shouldn't be havin that first drink at all. One of these days instead of wakin up in a hotel room it could be wakin up in an alley freshly relapsed or in a holding cell finding out you've caught some serious ass charges. 40% of incarcerated people were under the influence of booze when they committed their crimes. Those of us who've blacked our have all done some crazy ass shit before, wakin up with regrets, cuts, bruises, worries, and a sick ass body. As we age we all gotta learn how not to keep trying to be twenty something years old forever. The party days come to an end, and if they don't, you'll eventually be left alone cuz all your party friends will die off. I know for a fact you've seen a lot of this already with your peers. Be good brother. Like someone else said, in your 30's, be a friend to YOURSELF. Work on yourself, give gifts to yourself, don't worry about other people. Once you put enough work into being the best version of yourself you can be, you will attract the right people, for the right reasons and everything will fall into place then. Don't let loneliness get to you - nourish yourself right now, and only yourself. Be selfish. Peace!
