Hi Dr Bri! I was feeling so down and uncomfortable in my body for so long since my diagnoses. It kind of paralised me, because I was so scared to worsen my condition and my pain let me think I just should lay down all the time. This is the first workout I did in months and I feel so strong, I’m about to cry haha. Thank you for your knowledge and energy, you are litterally changing lives and I’m so grateful to have found your channels. Lots of love!

Did you have improvement?
@lindatindall50112 жыл бұрын
@@jillcooper5232 I certainly did. I started her videos approximately the middle of Jan.. 2022 and by the time I went back to the urologist the 2 nd of February I could tell a big difference. In the beginning my prolapse was bulging. When examined the Dr. didn’t think I had a problem, and I guess on a exam table it didn’t reveal itself but standing up it was definitely evident. Just happened to stumble on Dr. Bri on you tube and I thought what the heck I’ve done everything else I’ll give it a try. By the time I went back to the DR on February 2nd it had definitely improved and I told him what I had been doing and the prolapse was no longer bulging. My incontinence has improved till I would say it’s nonexistent. After dealing with this for 10 years (incontinence) I’m trying not to be over confident. If things keep improving I’m thinking seriously of stopping the medication I take for the incontinence. I realize that the improvement for the prolapse is strictly due to the exercise I’ve learned from Dr. Bri But I do them every morning and sometimes on weekends I don’t get them done but I know it’s something I’ll will have to continue. Better than getting surgery for prolapse that doesn’t work. The only exercises of Dr. Bri that I’ve done are the free ones. So happy with the results and they usually take less than 30 min. Well worth the effort.

@@annaporter3442 I went to my aOB gyne and she said my uterus is low,at that time my uterus was not painful yet, she just gave me a supposutory then I continued working and teaching until my prolapse went severe, to the point were I won't be able to stand and walk,like there's a heavy metal going out of my vagina. My husband decided to call someone and she massaged my uterus and lifted it to its place,and how painful that was, I had bedrest and after a week I was able to walk again but my uterus is still heavy after work or in the afternnon and night, but not as heavy as before and not painful. Then a few months later I felt my uterus being heavier again and that's when I discovered this channel. I tried the lift program during summer where there's no classes so I had the opportunity to do it daily and I felt fully recovered. Even thought I'm travelling to school everyday. Honestly, I only did the 1st-3rd week of lift program and I felt the recovery during the second week. But unfortunately, I had my 6th miscarriage last May 2020, which was my 8th pregnancy, so my uterus went lower again.But I fellt weaker, so I want to strengthen my pelvic floor, thighs and core.

Are these exercises safe to do with diastasis recti?
@vibrantpelvichealth11 ай бұрын
This workout is **pelvic floor aware** meaning that specific cues are given for breathing and technique. This keeps the workout "pelvic floor friendly" for people with all sorts of pelvic floor issues, including diastasis recti. That being said, I can't guarantee that it will be appropriate for your needs. EVERYONE IS DIFFERENT and will tolerate exercises differently. Listen to your body and stop or modify if anything feels uncomfortable for your particular core/pelvic floor needs. Talk to your local pelvic floor physical therapist for individualized medical advice!

At what point after hysterectomy can I start these exercises?

Hello Dr. Bri! Thank you for all your work, and your videos are life savers. I just need to ask you about the exercise you are doing when lying on your stomach. Wouldn't that position put more pressure on a bladder? I have a 3.5 months past hysterectomy and was recently diagnosed with mild bladder prolapse. Don't want to make it worse.
@vibrantpelvichealth Жыл бұрын
You're welcome, and I'm glad to hear that you've found the videos helpful! I understand your concerns about exercises that involve lying on your stomach and the potential impact on the bladder, especially considering your recent hysterectomy and bladder prolapse diagnosis. It's important to note that exercises and positions can affect individuals differently based on their specific circumstances. When it comes to post-hysterectomy exercises and managing bladder prolapse, it's crucial to consult with your healthcare provider or a pelvic floor physical therapist who can provide personalized guidance. While certain exercises that involve lying on your stomach, such as prone exercises, may increase intra-abdominal pressure, they can be modified or avoided altogether if they are contraindicated in your situation. Your healthcare provider will be able to assess your individual condition and provide specific recommendations regarding exercises and positions that are safe and appropriate for you. ~ Leila from Vibrant Support
