Me: PJ all day, all night and alone with my dogs (children). It’s better to be safe than sorry. I have no interest in meeting people or go eat out with them and get sick as a result. Totally NOT worth it! I’m happy and comfortable being alone with my little children dogs to celebrate the holidays and that’s why I haven’t got sick so far this winter and I already shot my 3rd vaccine weeks ago but even after you get a vaccine, you still can get sick anyway (even if not severe) so it’s best to stay indoors and quarantining yourself until this pandemic is over!!

That's nuts. I informed my friend that being over weight at 5'1" 265 pounds wasn't healthy and having a bad case of asthma just make her situation worst. I offered to exercise with her. But she replied that her Drs' "don't mention her weight so why should I." Not to be manipulated or persuaded I continued expressing my concerns for three + years. She died 2 years ago from heat exhaustion and being overweight. That's what the ER Dr. said, but only if her attending physician would've informed her. As I tried.

if remote "learning" is just hours of talking heads. no wonder the kids are frustrated. you have an entire rainbow of music, visual arts and travel just to name a few essential teacher's aids. education should be like a TV show these days. i am disgusted. why would you need tests to gauge a student's retention? tests do not integrate knowledge. plain fault of constant testing. you can use a ton of other methods. i usually use pass/fail instead of grading. believe me you know if you can measure, balance a check book, plan basic architecture or write a story. and so on. as a professional writer I was confused as to why I absolutely HAD to take Algebra. some American education is just a waste. I needed business courses instead, self-publishing, etc. Imagine a black high school without a music department. Imagine any high school without a library. worry about the things you can't do due to lack of imagination.

I understand your frustration and belief that imagination should be appaulded. Yes, however, the majority of our technology and growth is due to advances in Math. It is so important. Japan and China push sciences and math and they are excelling compared to the U.S. Many do not see math as important but if we would start our children in math earlier it would not be so difficult. Architecture, construction, internet, medicine, and the majority of our growth is due to math. We have to compete, therefore, we must excel in math.
