I have the same bamboo brush but never thought to apply soap to it and use it for cleaning. I use it for dry exfoliating and to reach my back, but i’ll have to try it for cleaning once a week maybe 🤔

It’s very harsh but it helps with my keratosis Pilaris which needs some aggressive exfoliation
