Awww so cute I used to have a senior pig at 7 year old and his name was pumpkin. Now I have two hamsters named Faye and Angus named after angus beef and your skinny pig Angus. At one point I was keeping pumpkin in to small of a cage then I saw your video and I switched him over to a Midwest cage with fleece. He passed away by old age and impacted. We helped him get it all out and he was feeling much better that day the next day we had a vet appointment for him but he sadly passed away the next day before the vet appointment. Are used to not keep him alone but his other meat died and he was turning quite old so I didn’t wanna get him a young pig and then have him be alone once pumpkin passes away. Then I got four new guinea pigs all in the right size cage on fleece and I love them so much. You give me a lot of inspiration and I learned a lot from you keep it up

I love your fleece and watching you and your piggies! It has helped me tremendously over the past couple days. We had an apartment fire on Friday, and even though it was just smokey, they would not let me go back for my pigs. My roommates and I were able to get our other animals out, aside from the pigs. So unfortunately the pigs were lost to smoke inhalation, because from what the FD said, the pigs were directly over top of where the smoke originated from. I also lost my bunbun girl Onyx to smoke inhalation and trauma, once I got her outside she started seizing, she stayed with me for an hour, and then I sang to her and she let go in my arms. So your videos have helped me get through this weekend

Finally you talked about the colour of your hay - I always thought your hay looked weird because it's so green! I'm in New Zealand and meadow hay is the most common in stores. You do get Timothy as well. My pigs love their meadow hay - and I've never had an issue with the hay being coarse or getting hay pokes.

you are honestly so amazing. i have 2 guinea pigs and my dad and i are really needing to find a better and bigger cage for them. unfortunately they're in the typical "starter pack cage", and i deeply regret not being educated enough about their living space. we can't afford bigger store-bought cages as they're about up to 60-70$ here in the u.s., so my dad wants to build or customize one instead. do you have any suggestions on what material to use for it? i'm sorry if you get this question a lot, i'm fairly new to your channel but i look up to you and watching your videos and clean-ups helped really educate me on guinea pigs. thank you. 😊

Organic Meadow Hay usually doesn't have twigs or sharp pieces in it, it was probably a bad bag. It's more like grass, with short, very green and brown pieces, but soft and squishy.

Sorry if you have answered before. I know you shake off your fleece during cleaning. But do you vacuum the fleece or anything before washing? I have been because I was told it is necessary to not clog the washing machine. Do you find this to be the case? I spend so much time vacuuming my fleece and want to know if there is an alternative?

For Coconut's fleece items, I find shaking it out is all that I need to do, sometimes a brush will be used to dust off hay

Hii just a question. I had my baby boy guinea pigs (theyre both brothers) out just now for some floor time and i noticed that Gus was chasing Kovu and sticking his face right up Kovu's butt and Kovu would start like squealing and sounding hurt and then Gus started nipping at his butt and then pee came out of Kovu and Gus drank it. Chelsea Jackson minimum for the main level would be 28 by 56 inches and even then that is tight. What kind of cage do you have? 28 by 70 inches is the minimum I recommend for boys. Too small and they can fight.

How come Pecan can't eat veggies anymore? I thought she was done bloating with their new pellets 😥 My seniorest girl has to eat less veggies to be fine, so I divide the cage for the rest to eat their normal meal

She was doing alright with less veggies but I could still tell veggies bugged her. I think with adding in more pigs she started getting too many and then we had a scary bloat episode and never again do I want her to go through that, so that is why we changed up the diet once again to keep her safe.
