We looked at buying a house on an island with no mainland access and keeping Reboot next to it that was under 400k in 2020. I noped out because access to emergency services was non-existent and I worried that our dog or my husband might get sick and I wouldn’t be able to get them to the mainland. That said, the seclusion and privacy were pretty amazing. The mosquitoes were the dealbreaker, though 😂. In the case of the private island you visited I think there might not have been any mosquitoes because there aren’t any trees or thick undergrowth 😊. That moat is AWESOME 👏
