Early morning sunrise walks with the herd is a favorite past time of mine. This morning I decided to introduce several of the baby calves. @cccc8643 hope this is what you were wanting to see.

What I always loved about walking in the fields or pastures was the peace and quiet. This video really shows that. I miss it a lot. Good stuff.
@PrideRanch23 күн бұрын
I struggle with recording the video and not saying anything. I think I’ll try to record a few and just keep quiet.

I always look forward to seeing your updates on Sunday morning. Some of us grew up watching westerns on tv and occasionally there were episodes about cattle rustling. I'm curious, are rustlers an issue in the cattle industry today? Thanks for posting. 👍
@PrideRanch23 күн бұрын
Cattle rustling is still a thing. I brand my cattle to prevent cattle theft.

DOES YOUR COW'S EAT ORGANIC ONLY ❤ HOW DO YOU TELL THEM APART ❤DO THEY ALL LOOK DIFFERENT ❤
@PrideRanch22 күн бұрын
I use store bought fertilizer or nitrogen on my land. And because of that the USDA definition states my grass grown from that fertilizer isn’t organic. So my cattle eats grass and store bought feed.

Deniro was chewing and saying to himself don't thank me too soon for not jumping. I love to see him !! Also, thank you for explaining the tags but, I have a question. Why are some called commercial calves or cows?
@PrideRanch8 күн бұрын
Great question! Some of my cattle are registered cattle. These are the ones with a pedigree or papers. You get to see their bloodlines. The cattle with no papers we call commercial. Commercial cattle are the set I use for my farm to table business.

Out of all your 🐮 cows Which one is the gentle one ?
@PrideRanch20 күн бұрын
Not sure why KZbin isn't posting my reply. I replied last night. So sorry it isn't showing. All of my cows are gentle. I sold the ones with bad disposition.

When at what size do u brand? & Why are some done and some not? Just wounderN lol
@PrideRanch22 күн бұрын
I try to brand all my cattle. I’m not that good at yet. So sometimes it doesn’t come thru. I will brand calves at weaning.
@andrewpaige657120 күн бұрын
Where do you get there names from ?
@PrideRanch20 күн бұрын
I follow the naming convention created by the brangus breed association.
