Yes, Faouzia wrote this song as she does the majority of her material. She's known for her vocal agility, sultry lower register and powerful belting. 😍 She is of Moroccan heritage, but she grew up in Canada.

She is my favorite artist ever, she is truly the full package. Her voice is incomparable, she is an incredible songwriter, and artist, not to mention she is absolutely beautiful inside and out, You should check out her song "Bad Dreams" she wrote it when she was 14. I belive it is her best song lyrically.

I agree. Though she always has at least an interesting line or two in every song. This is my fav part of Elon. ‘Can we just be honest? We break every promise … It's imagination We're hallucinating Making up a story That's not there’

This is one of my favorite songs by her. She's incredible singer-songwriter. She brings aspects of her Moroccan heritage to a pop music which i think is super cool. She already intentionally did that with some arabic trills that were rooted in her(for growing up listening to and singing both pop/arabic music) To understand better, i suggest you react Rip,love by her.

@@bignickofficial there is a 16 year old Kazakh girl named Daneliya Tuleshova who sang an abridged version of this for her audition on AGT 2020. She went on to finish 6th. After she was eliminated she went home and sang a longer version. She was just 14 when she performed this song again. Faouzia really liked what Daneliya with her song both times. See what you think. By the way, Daneliya turned 16 last July 18th, has since moved to the U.S. to finish her schooling in Boston. She also has a new manager and is also pursuing her music. Nick, this girl is the real deal. She is going to make an impact in the business. Here's the link. kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z6HIm6yQqsudg7M Daneliya at 14 'Tears Of Gold' a Faouzia cover.

Beauty, brain and talent are a trio of truths known as "FAOUZIA" She is the real deal ! The best singer songwriter I have heard in the last decade ! Plays three instruments, speaks three languages , is completing her engineering degree at University and can sing seamlessly through all her registers naturally ! Originally from Morocco but immigrated to Canada at a young age ! Just finished her first successful tour of Europe and North America ! Faouzia has a unique style and her voice with her Moroccan influence is beautiful to listen to ! ! Fabulous songwriter with such relatable lyrics ! I would suggest any of her stripped versions ! ' You Don't Even Know Me " ; How it All Works Out" ; "Elon " ; "Bad Dreams" ; "Hero" are just a few ! Her song "Minefields" with John Legend is a fantastic duet and visually appealing music video ! Actually her music videos are so different from the stripped version in that they are captivating and visually stunning ! I want to thank you for your heartwarming and intelligent commentary on her songwriting talents ! They were spot on ! Please enjoy the journey and you will become a fan like the rest of us who recognize this talented beautiful soul ! Sending much thanks and love from Canada ! 👍👍🇨🇦🇨🇦❤️

She’s done several interesting covers, including reinterpreting J.Cole’s ‘Middle Child’. Personally, I prefer her original music. “Exothermic” is one of her happier songs. The song with Legend is a gentle piano ballad.
@bethanyp8847 Жыл бұрын
The majority of her work is her own songs, she does do covers, like Adele or J. Cole along with numerous others. She has collabed with John Legend (as you saw) and about 3 or 4 others. She sings in 3 languages (and speaks them fluently as well). Like this one, check out her stripped versions, I find them more vocally interesting, when it’s full production there are times that the music takes over her voice, which is hard to believe but it does. She has 2 or 3 EP’s out with roughly 8 songs on each. Her latest single Habibi (My Love) is great. She has another one coming out soon (unless I’m behind the loop and missed it). Great reaction, glad you are enjoying her voice, poetry and style. Try Bad Dreams next, she wrote that one when she was 14. Also, in this recording she’s (I think) about 17 or 18, she’s only 22 (and a half) right now, also studying computer engineering in university… she’s amazing! Enjoy your trip down the Faouzia rabbit hole!!🐇🕳

PTX brought me to your channel but I’ll be sticking around to see who else you discover. Faouzia is incredible - I loved her song with John Legend Minefield. If you enjoy her voice & tone I also recommend Daneliya Tuleshova from Kazakhstan.
