Aourir, Morocco, is a lively place full of souk and many Moroccan markets, especially on Wednesdays. We explore this village north of Agadir on it's busiest day to buy some seafood for Christmas. There are many fish from the Atlantic ocean for sale in the Agadir region. The fish is fresh and reasonably priced. If you travel to Morocco, you may not know the names of all these fish. Here a friendly man names all the fish of the fish market, and we can see their prices in Moroccan dirham per kilo. Today we buy shrimps, calamari, and cuttle fish for the price of 50 dirham a kilo for each one, a total of 150 dirham. We also paid 10 dirham to have the calamari cleaned and cuttle fish cut. Thanks to Fish Tarik and Rida Fish of Aourir for the guidance for today's video. They were friendly and helpful. Rida Fish streams each day there fish on Facebook, you can check them out @Rida Fish!
