Morph Cameras Will Make You Happy :)

In this lesson you will learn how to easily blend between multiple cameras using Morph Cameras in Cinema 4D. Ultimately, producing smoother and faster animations.

one thing I love doing with Morph cam is to duplicate a CAM A as its child, then choose a different focal length and move it along Z axis. That way I can easily create the classic dolly zoom effects in CG. Love the way Morph Cam can help us "Procedurally" animate camera.

A quick tip for the rotate and zoom at the beginning: create a Null with its center at the focus point of the camera. move the camera into it, and now you can rotate the Null instead of having to move the camera! So just animate the rotation of the null and the z-axis of the camera and you're good to go

Great tutorial! Any tips for enabling bokeh and rendering DOF using morph cam with redshift?

Thank you Andy. This is no problem. Add a RS Cam Tag to the Morph Cam. Then adjust your bokeh settings in ORIGINAL cameras - so focus distance, etc. The Morph Cam will look back at the original camera settings. Please let me know if it's not making sense, thank you for your support!

@@andytaylor3799 If you are in the most recent update make sure your renderer is set to Redshift. Once you do that there is no longer a need to add a tag to the cameras, it's just built it!
