You didn't discuss potential fat pad loss. This is a huge issue that needs to be addressed as some of us don't want to or can't afford to lose. Also, once it's gone there's no turning back. Fat pad loss is PERMANENT.

The first couple of times to me appears to be more painful then as you’ve done it several times it it seems a bit less. If you have a PA or the Dr do it they can numb you with injections whereas just an esthetician can’t do thet so the just use cream number.

I had The Morpheus8 on the back of my legs. The first time the technician did it I was fine. Not sure what the setting was but my grid marks went away with in a few days. It didn’t hurt that bad. I had nitrous and some topical lidocaine. The second time I went back it was a different technician, it was extremely painful with lidocaine and nitrous and I was jumping off the table. I had to ask the technician who was a different girl than the first girl if she had the setting on too high because it was extremely painful and when she finished, I had red grid marks and I was extremely sore and NOW 8 months later I still have grid marks, I have bruising that never went away. I have erythema broken blood vessels. She basically damaged me and scarred me from the radio frequency being on too high, and the needles probably went too deep. Currently seeking legal counsel. I never went back from my third session for obvious reasons. I do not recommend Morpheus8 to anyone! Thank God, I didn’t do it on my face!!

There's a whole group on FB dedicated to victims of this device who had their facial fat melted and appear to have aged 15+ years. Heat is not 100% predictable you are taking a chance with the procedure. Respectfully, I would only trust the advice of someone who had fellowship training specialized in lasers and energy based devices. Those MDs who do have this training will openly talk about heat damaging the fascia (connective tissue) especially with repeated procedures. Please be careful.

Morpheus is the gold standard for skin treatments! (And I’ve tried most of them 😇) Initially I did three treatments back to back, and now once a year for maintenance. Hands down worth the investment if you’re starting to notice sagging skin.

I've heard a lot of people having bad experience with this type of device. They said that they look much older afterwards because of the damage that it did to their skin.

I had five treatments for my acne scarring and am very happy. Yes it is painful. I would get whatever additional pain mitigation is offered by your doctor (such as laughing gas). I had very little downtime. The day after I felt like I looked good, then the second day was red, but nothing that would keep me inside the house. Afterwards, I was fine.

So glad you posted about this! There’s so much noise about Morpheus8 at the moment. I’ve had fractional RF before but never Morpheus. Keen to give it a go so I can make a video showing the before/afters. Love your content! 🩵🩵🩵

It happened to me - my skin went from normal to horrible, my skin person used way too much heat and it turned my skin into dry, flakey lizard skin, lost a ton of volume. Over a year and a half later and it’s the same - have had to do a lot to make it better - basically found a skin care system that keeps the flaking under control because it turns my skin over fast enough, but if I stop it the scaly texture comes back. Have tried sculptura to help with the volume loss which is also expensive. Nightmare. Supposedly it’s only when someone uses way too much heat, which I believe. I’m sure someone who uses low heat and has a history of using it would be fine

It’s all in the setting. I do this service at my medspa and the only areas of the face where I increase the heat is the chin fat area, and the jowl area. A lot of practitioners don’t take the time to understand RF w microneedling and that’s the unfortunate part. Good luck 🍀 ladies

I just recently started having my Morpheus eight treatments starting September. So I have had two. It is extremely uncomfortable in the moment for me and a little painful in certain places, but tolerable. It’s still early days, but I can tell my acne and dryness in my skin has improved. I’m excited to get my final treatment, let my skin heal up and see where it’s at in a few months. I’m 32 with a very round full face. Unsure about the contouring yet.

European here. A Dr performing such a treatment without a face mask and her loose hair touching the patient is a big NO to me. I would like that they'd had addressed the fat loss associated with this procedure.

I loved the Morpheus 8, I did not find it to heat my skin a lot and my derm wouldn't have done something that heats up my skin a lot because I get irritated from it. I have very sensitive skin - I cannot do peels or traditional facials. I can only do microneedling with PRF other than the RF needling. I did get the gas to make the pain less severe.

Aesthetic practitioners really should perform tumescent anesthesia (superficial injection of lidocaine into the subcutaneous fat) in addition to topical lidocaine, this will absolutely help with the pain associated the procedure. Furthermore, application of anti-hyperpigmentation cream such as hydroquinone or kojic acid should be applied during the first week for individuals who are prone to PIH (post inflammatory hyperpigmentation) along with petroleum jelly (an occludent - think band aide). Such application will protect the skin while healing occurs in the deeper tissue.

@Anna_2024-r6u Ай бұрын
Injections should be performed only by med personal. Aesthetic practitioners don’t have that education… some don’t even know how to identify the skin type right . Some of them are dumb. They like their job; but not educated enough.

That's why I don't do any of this bullshit like needs or heat on my face. Regular proper skin routine at home is enough. Plus balanced diet and sport activities, sleep, and yoga. That's all you need

I’m Korean and Mexican/American. I also have melasma and microneedling definitely made my skin worse. I did 6 treatments with plant stem cells and it was supposed to brighten but the melasma in my cheeks was brought out even more. It took about 2 years for most of it to calm down and a series of laser toning sessions. Do you have any thoughts on Skinbetter science products?

My girlfriend also suffered from melasma, she tried many things and its was getting darker and bigger. After many things tried, she went to a dermatologist in colombia and the doctor send her to buy some special supplements that she was lacking, believe me or not the melasma went almost 100% gone. Find a dermatologist that can give a good inner body diagnose, the majority of the times for not saying all the time, melasma comes from the inside and needs to be treated from the inside. You can treat melasma with products but that will just be superficial and will apear again and again.

Morpheus really gives MN with RF a bad rep. Many of my patients who do potenza love it. It doesn’t hurt. Little downtime and they see great results IF they’re a good candidate meaning they only have mild to moderate skin laxity. Otherwise if not I refer them for a neck or face lift instead from a plastic surgeon. It is dependent on the provider or whoever has their hands on the device like you said.
