Hi Brian, thanks for the video. Do you know what year OS started to manufacture the 300 with the new style machined connecting rods? And you mentioned gas/oil mix 20:1. I guess the higher oil content is for all of the 4-stroke valve train kit? (when compared to 50:1 for a 2-stroke gasser for instance) Thanks, -John

Brian, very interesting video, thanks for your effort ant time editing it. I own a first generation OS 120 twin. I would love converting it to gas. How can I know the con rod type I have? As it is a very old first generation engine, is it possible to update them?? Does anyone sell them?

OEM are cast aluminium and the aftermarket are solid bronze or billet.
