This is indeed it!!! Gents, Blaz, SO greatful and SO happy. First, great video and very helpful, I'll be sure to reference it for any future conversions. Second, I can't wait to get this in my Balsa USA Fokker D8, its not a Bi-sexual plane though Robert :D, but still very sexy ;) Either way, I'll be sure top post a video on my channel once its flying this summer. I'm thinking of getting a plane...but I've never flown before so it's better to start with electric motor possibly...and obviously easy set up....nice motor. :-)
@russc32885 жыл бұрын
Just my opinion from flying both but I agree with the electric motor option first. Less to mess with and chance for beginner error. Avoiding the prop is STILL the number 1 thing to keep in mind. Ask me how I know :) I started with the Apprentice and is still one of my favs because its very forgiving and easy to set up and fly. Its a high wing trainer designed for first time pilots. Lots of similare planes like it, is just my fav. A simulator is always a good investment and time well spent learning. Then find a club with some good exp pilots to hang with and learn from. Then fly and have fun :) Russ

@@stuartrobson5265 Theres a great forum on rcgroups.com that can help as well. They cover just about any topic rc related known and I'v learned alot on there - radios, speed controllers, diff planes, etc etc. Dont be shy about asking questions of them. Most are very knowledgeable and can save you many hours of frustration and mistakes. I fly a Spektrum DX6 radio and RX's and love them. But then again, you'll get just as many guys flying others that work too and have some of the same good features. I buy almost all my stuff from Horizon or Motion mainly because they have in my opinion the best service and response from exp employees that actually care about the customer. Hopefully some of the guys and gals on this site can help you as well. A good bunch here thanks to zee brothers efforts. Just dont plan on being first to post after they put a vid out. :)
