Probably be easier to get a good used engine online. Lots of Morris Minor groups on FB that might be selling one. Good luck 👍🏾

I’m sorry it lost oil pressure. The oil pressure gauge was reading zero though when it was noisy. Could certainly hear the big ends rattling. Hope you can find a replacement engine.

Hi everyone we didn't make the Rat Mog at the pod. (santa Pod) George had broken down i keep thinking I should have stopped on side of the road when he fist made the horrible sound but I wanted to get off the busy road as I may have been there some time and it would have been very dangerous. I'm sure George will be back soon. Thanks for watching 🤓👍

Sound of him he ran a big end out I'm a marine engineer . don't beat yourself up by the time u here knocking it all over mate chin up ⚓🛠️🤠 JB

Very sad about what happened. I was surprised to see all the oil on the wings but wondered if maybe there was an oil leak around the filter which sprayed onto the fan and caused such a mess. It wouldn't take long then for a big end to seize as several here have said. Maybe it's not quite as serious as first thought, if you can find the and cure the oil leak, possibly get away with just changing the big end shells. My last "A" series engines, A30's and Minor's were over 50 years ago so.........

Such bad luck, can't really see how you could have stopped sooner on that busy road and it would not have made the slightest difference in that it was a fail, but you would have put yourself at risk of being rear-ended. I guess with all that oil spewing out you must have fractured an oil pipe, await to hear news of what went wrong and if there has been any undue damage to the engine. Fortunately, you are well served with spares, just time & money to sort out the problems, good luck with this!

Sorry to hear see this has happened, gutting. Couldn't see an oil warning light come on in the dash, maybe yours didn't have one. Made a right mess in the bay - guess some feed had blown apart, shame it's been running nicely.
