Why is the oil light flashing?
@thefatfrierunleshed4 жыл бұрын
stephen bryson it's actually the brake light. A previous owner fitted it
@ratrodminorvan4 жыл бұрын
Did it used to have a towbar? It was a legal requirement to fit a brake light confirmation light on the dash.
@thefatfrierunleshed4 жыл бұрын
@@ratrodminorvan From what the previous owner knew of the car, it was because a previous owner had an issue with his leg, and kept leaving his foot on the brake pedal. This cased the brake shoes to get worn out fast so he fitted a brake light on the dash. I find it useful, because I know the brake lights are coming on with it. If it doesnt light, i know my brake lights are not working

Around 20 minutes in you turned the crankshaft so that No. 3 valve was completely open. Then at a critical moment you were interrupted by the well-meaning neighbors. And then proceeded to adjust valve No. 7....? Shouldn't this have been No. 6 by the 'rule of nine'? Sorry to be critical but I don't think I would have used an adjustable spanner (wrench here in Massachusetts) for fear of rounding off the flats. Good video otherwise! I have a 1967 Traveller here in Ipswich, MA.
