It's mounted to the body. Don't really understand why one would need to cut the body lift spacers or even need to remove the nuts and lift the body.

There is also four body mount bolts hold the slider (two on each side) they bolt to the frame and sandwich the slider between the frame and body. Trim the body mounts so those four are not 3/16” higher than the rest (causing extra stress)
