I thought that crowd singing Don't look Back In Anger was a disgrace. I quote John Lydon "Anger is an energy". Fair play to Morrissey for calling those people morons, that's exactly what they were.

Brilliant song and the lyrics were fantastic. Nailed my feelings on the matter. Morrissey was brave for saying it - the applause after the chorus lyrics summed up the mood of the audience.

This sends shivers down my body. The atrocity that played out at the Arena seems to have been swept under the carpet. It will never leave those directly and indirectly involved.

why has this not been more widely heard? A masterpiece but doesn't fit with MSM.

It is a beautiful tragedy of a song so heartfelt. We love Moz for sticking to his truths whether he is in the minority of one in the music industry. Thank you Moz.

Amazing night, amazing song, think it hits us Mancunians more than others. Remember it happening, I live about a couple of miles away from the arena.

Just look at all the soft-spoken, one-size-fits-all singers. It's almost unbearable. Who else but Morrissey would dare to sing songs like "Staircase at the university", "Kick the bride down the aisle", "Munich Air Disaster", "Suffer little children", "Meat is Murder", "National Front Disco", "Bengali in Platforms", "Margaret on the Guillotine", "Asian Rut", "America is not the world", "Irish blood, English heart", "The Bullfighter Dies", "Israel", "The girl from Tel-Aviv", "Who will protect us from the police", "Notre Dame",. ...and so many more. The world will only know how important Morrissey was when he's gone.......
