Morro partially redeemed himself when he gave Wu the Realm Crystal in Possession: Curse World: Part 2, and again when he helped the Ninja in Day of the Departed. As Wu's former student, Morro has a number of parallels to Arin, such as being wronged by their mentors. As bonuses, "I make my own destiny," "you made me believe I was to become the Green Ninja! Now, I am!" and "you can only save those who want to be saved" could be lessons that Lloyd needs before he can become a worthy mentor for Arin. However, I still believe Morro would work better as an antihero instead of as a protagonist.

If anyone is joining the team it's younger new DR characters that the og ninja can take in as they're students. Characters like Frak, Jordana, or Euphrasia (probably not since I feel she's being set up to be Dragons Rising's Skylor, where she never joins the team but is there to help the ninja if they need it)

That is understandable. Though I personally would love to see Euphraisa as a ninja (mainly because it would be awesome to see a wind master as a ninja, and it would help Lloyd heal from his trauma from the last one), but of course, it has to be written really well for it to work.

Don't do that, don't give me hope. Since DOTD I've been waiting for him to come back he was redeemed and everything it makes no sense for him to be a villain again. But with Euphrasia's introduction we've got a new elemental master of wind so hopes of his return dwindled. Can't believe my BOI Morro is back i just hope they haven't retconned his REDEMPTION.

I think the reason why Morro is in season 3 of Dragons Rising other than popularity is because he never had time to atone for his crimes from when he was alive. Helping The Ninja stop The Forbidden Five and Lord Ras and Arin is the only way to get back to the afterlife. So he takes the opportunity to finally right his personal mortal wrongs.

I feel like theyre going to use morro as more of a character to gain arin back to the team. If you think about it they both have similar journeys as they both strived for power so far that they became evil or left the good side in the process. I also feel like he might train Euphrasia and become a sort of mentor to her. I dont think he'll join the team when he returns but maybe in the future as overtime the opponents of the ninja might become stronger
