still if you think about it, its because these two are so hardheaded and care for each other it spared the shira ryu from quan chi destruction like in previous timelines since sektor gave up on the amulet and the shira ryu for a moment and instead focused on rescuing bi han, so now quan chi no longer needs to uphold his end of the deal to finish them off.

Bi-Han has always been like that. He just didn't get much screen time before he died and became Noob, then proceeded to not be in the next game, and be, but not do a single thing, in the next one.

This- I don’t care too much on making them women cause it could work, as it would make Liu Kangs timeline version of the Lin Kuei not sexist (like it is downright stated in the last game) But yeah making them into iron man rip offs was not the way to do it. They shoulda been kidnapped by Havik and turned into Cyborgs (like half human half robot) who are under his control and break free or just be fully robotizied

I wonder if I'm the only one who actually liked the dlc. I thought it was short but I thought on the whole it was pretty good. Makes me excited to see what they do next, if they will do another story expansion or start hinting at who will be in the next mortal Kombat game. Honestly I kind of wonder if we're to the point where people are just immediately going to dislike anything to do with the game just because of the bad taste in their mouth and not give it a fair shake.

I liked the DLC too. It just felt too rushed. And by that I mean that the events were happening way too fast. Also the power levels were hella fluctuating without any explanation. Kamidogu Titan Havik should've absolutely obliterated the whole kast.

Yea. It was not perfect, but it was fine honestly. The only thing that I didn’t like was the ending because it was kinda unclear what actually happened. IMO the story was more like the first part of the of story expansion

Let's break this down: for $50 on top of a game that's already $150 with the first DLC, you get: about an hour and a half of a story that is underwhelming. 'Titan Havik' isn't a villain, and there hardly feels like there's much reason for each progression other than just to serve the purpose of getting to the next fight. This was an utter failure of a DLC, especially considering Sektor + Cyrax should've been base game. Plus the guest characters save for Ghostface are utterly complete garbage. The only way they could maybe, potentially save the MK1 game as a whole with the next expansion is an 'Order' based DLC with Hotaru, Jax, and Sareena being the DLC and Doom Slayer, Pinhead, and Wolverine. it'd be a cohesive DLC that could lead to Onaga. But Netherrealm would rather fuck everything up.

ironically they're the reason that the shira ryu are still alive too if you think about it. according to sektor ending quan chi was about to destroy the shira ryu as per their deal like in the past time lines. however when she finds bi han she quickly goes back on her deal and focus on rescuing him instead. this meant quan chi no longer needs to uphold his end of the bargain so shira ryu is spared from quan chi attack.

In MK2, they’ll be one of many. Since Bi Han is opting to keep the powers he got from Titan Havik, the Lin Kuei are going to come back stronger than ever. Shao and Reiko are still working to raise and “tame” Onaga, so Onaga will be another major antagonist. The third will be Titan Havik again, as there’s no way he’s going to stay in the Void forever. He will break out eventually or his loyalists from his timeline will come back for him.

But in Raidens favour he wasn't the absolute god Liu Kang is with the power of the hour glass, Raiden was just the thunder god in charge of Earthrealms protection. Couldn't reshape the universe and the characters or restart over. If anything I find it funny Liu Kang made Shang Tsung a nobody without power but still made Shao the firkin general of outworld as he was before taking the throne from someone like frickin Onaga. Now the Lin Kuei are also bad guys as opposed to the previous timelines were they protected Earthrealms interest. If anything god Liu Kang sucks harder other titans like Shang Tsung and Havik made timelines were the good guys serve them and Liu Kang can't manage to make the bad guys good if anything he makes some like Tanya and Meleena good but looses over the entire Lin Kuei.
