You do get lots of stuff from Invasions mode, but it really needs a world map. It would also be way more interesting if the secret fights, were the crazy hybrid characters from the end of story mode.

You can get these crazy Hybrids, that Shao Kahn that CAGED fought against is from the story mode. And TBH if there was a map it would've been too easy to find the locations, it's not a free roaming mode after all.

A few things: 1) There is no reason to grind profile XP with the Test Your Might trick - just play invasions and you will get there by the end. And you want to play through all of Invasions to get the unlocks that come with it along the way. Also, by just playing through with a character first and hitting level 30 in you profile, every character has the full 145 points to add to their stats. (also, maybe don't pu EVERY point in attack - I usually do 45/80/80/45/45 or so just so there is a little balance for playing towers and stuff - you will never survive later Invasions fights without upping your other stats a little). 2) Finish with a Brutality if you can, but if it goes wrong, still do the Fatality as it does net you a good chunk of points. 3) As others have said, there are easier matches in the Fengjian Village mesa - either Triple Threat or (the one I use because the AI just seem dumber somehow) Team Work. 4) The point breakdown is thus (press "Y" to see points after the fight): Each Flawless nets you 150/235/65 Fatality gives: 60/95/25 A Brutality gives: 120/90/55 (twice that of a fatality with a little extra to the Kameo for some reason) Victory bonus is: 75/235/130 5) Doing this I have four Kameos maxed and 14 characters at least to level fifteen - to get that last Brutality. It takes me about an hour to get to fifteen but some say they can do it much faster. Reptile was one-hitting all three for me (since they are weak against his acid) and it took an hour so not sure how those people are claiming they are doing it quicker, but I'd love to see it. That's all I have - good luck out there and enjoy the grind! 😂😂😂😂😂

There's a three opponent Endurance match in the first Mesa. The enemies are all level 1, and you can 1HK them with an uppercut while only having spec'd about 85 points into attack. Get Flawless on all three and finish with a brutality and you'll get over 1000xp each time. You can take a character from Mastery Rank 0 up to 35 in about an hour or so. (See Edit 2) [Edit] It's in the Fengjian Village mesa, and it's called "Triple Threat." [Edit 2] Decided to time myself. It took me 2hr 59min to max Scorpion. (From 0-15 in 44 min) It took me 3hr 44min to max Ashrah. "An hour or so" may have been a little bit of a stretch. But, it can be done in a reasonable amount of time compared to what some are claiming. It's just unbearably boring, and it will take longer if you don't get Flawless every time. Screwing up even 1 of the 3 needed Flawless wins causes you to lose a lot of XP. Level 20+ is where it gets pretty bad, and 32-35 is rightly miserable. I'll leave the original message to own up to my error. No dispute. I guess it just seemed faster when I was doing Reptile and Smoke (my mains).

I actually use the one that is level 5 (It's called Team Work) at the corner, across the bridge. They seem dumber somehow... 🤣. I can basically jump kick them to death and you can walk right up to Geras at the end and uppercut him for the brutality. Also, I don't know what on earth you are doing to get to 35 in an hour, but it takes me about an hour to hit 15, which I've done with thirteen characters so far. So, I don't know how you are doing it so fast but all the power to ya' if that's true.

The best Endurance i found to farm XP is the one in Sun Do Festival called "Best Friends". It's right next to a big statue with a smoke boss fight called "Enenra", if you spawn at the shop thats right next to the forge you can get there in a few nodes. I found this one to be easiest to do because in Fengjian the Geras sometimes super armors and you miss the brutality, which is a lot of XP in the long run. On this one you can just walk straight up to them and uppercut oneshot all but the Havik (who is no problem) since they're only lvl. 8 too. The only thing you have to watch out for are: 1. If Ashrah walks back follow her until she turns her blade dark and uppercut with a slight delay otherwise you will punch over her and miss 2. Baraka sometimes charges a super, you can hit him if you started walking instantly otherwise he'll prolly hit u if you dont interrupt him. 3. Havik is very easy honestly, if he moves back hes gonna do his projectile super but he charges for a few seconds so it shouldnt be a problem. That's all, happy grinding.

I found it easier (or maybe more my preference) to go with all points on special and use either Frost or Cyrax to net or freeze them, and hit them with projectiles. Then freeze or net Havik and go for the kameo brutality. All the points on attack would probably work great with net or freeze too. Just can’t get the uppercut brutality out of those kameo assists.

I should clarify, the kameo is fighter specific. I was using Cyrax with Liu. With Smoke, I’m using Kano’s eye blast to inflict most damage, then doing his smoke bomb for the knockout hit and brutality.

ANOTHER TIP: There is a way to respec your character and reset all of the fighters points and assign them to the attack category. If you chose the “Wu Shi Academy” mesa, and go to the Kollector (the shop) you can buy a item (I forgot the name 😅) and it allows you to respec your fighters points. After sold once it says “sold out” but if you want to do it for other fighters, just simply return to the main menu and go back in.

Forget test your night, but absolutely do the Endurance node!! If you get perfects and a brutality you’ll level up quickly for low level characters, and I mean Mastery levels. You’ll be getting gear, pallets, Brutalities and Taunts left and right. I did it for about an hour and a half and got Reptile from level 2/10, Smoke from 7-10, and Sub from 17-20. You’ll still be grinding but it’s the best way to grind so far, If not a very mindless way to do it. You also will accumulate tons of money in the shrine on the main menu to buy more stuff. I went from 0 to 27,000. Just keep in mind that the more you level up the slower your exp gain will be. It’ll still be a grind for your higher level characters but it’ll be quicker than playing Ranked or versus online, by a fair amount.

I think a better way is beating Triple Threat Endurance which only has a 1 difficulty score in Fengjian. You get a much better XP boost if you can Flawless all 3 opponents. A Finisher is not as important but a Brutality is much better than a Fatality.

At the Wu Shi Academy mesa, you can buy a dragon horn for 3000 coins, which you can use to gain several Invasions levels (the max I've gotten is 5) which will allow you to get a lot of stat points

Another good tower to level up your invasions lvl is the one at the fire temple a guarantee a level and a half. Went from 25 to 30 in minutes. But as far as character XP this is probably the best for now.

There's two in Sundo, Sun Do? That gives 30 to the invasions level. Once you have that leveled go to first map and look for Triple Threat on the near the start of map and try for flawless rounds with brutal. Fast and easy.

I feel like grinding invasion levels (which you were calling profile levels, your profile is a separate XP grind) at a TYM is a bit unnecessary. I mean, sure, I guess if you want to finish all the character masteries NOW, that's the way to go about it (maybe), but I feel it was more fun just to finish Invasion mode normally, use your Krowns to just buy levels since if you're like me, you're not spending them on talisman recharges, and then grind endurance nodes once you have enough stat points to one hit brutality, as that makes it even easier to get what the game will count as a triple flawless victory in seconds for chunks of XP. I certainly agree that Invasions needs a map. While it's technically not too hard to navigate, they're just big enough to make me go "where exactly was that netherstone gate/gate locked chest again?" that has me traversing the map trying to remember landmarks and where I was supposed to turn.

Id like to say if you go to training grounds you can purchase exp from the shop. Its either 3 or 4k koins for one but it gives you 100 exp for the invasion levels. Its quicker if you have the koins saved.

That’s only your invasion level not character mastery level where you actually unlock things.

Another greeat way to level is to buy the +100 xp item in the wu shi academy. It gives 5 levels for 3k crowns

if you go to the wu shi training area and buy the 100 xp boost you get like 2-4 levels atleast i did

just use the coins to go to kollector at the academy and buy the xp things. i got to level 30 within minutes

you can go to the first map in invasion and the very first endurance you come across gives the same amount of xp

LOL, I had already had my Li Mei and Smoke's attack high and got the seasonal skin for them, forgot what they're called before learning about this but thanks, I'll try this with my other characters
