I think it'll be a pretty simple case of reused brutalities. If Shujinko is up against a character that has a brutality attached to a move that Shujinko gets from them, Shujinko can use that brutality. Also, all Kameos have only 1 full-fledged fatality, it'd just make no sense to offset that consistency by giving Shujinko another.

Doesn't seem like the worst deal in the world, we are getting 6 new characters, 18 new finishers (2 fatalities per 6 characters plus each get their own animality), a bunch of new brutalities, a whole expansion to the main story, more intros, and the 3 guests are ones many have anticipated, T-1000 will be interesting to see in action (and getting fatalities done on it), Ghostface will have the best intros, no question about that, and Conan... well, he is probably the least interesting, but still a coll addition. Overall, this expansion feels like a decent deal.

But that’s counterintuitive. The point of buying a bunch of things in a pack would be to save money. If you buy a pack of something & pay more than you would have if you had bought everything in that pack individually, then what would be the motivation to buy those things in a pack? Here's an idea: Just like in Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3, after the announcer would yell, "finish him/her!", I would like to start the Brutality with a long combo that eventually leads to the opponent exploding. Mind you, I have no problem with the Brutalities now with the challenge of starting the combo before the announcer chimes in. But the slow down throws me off for the last hit. As free content, I'd like to see this implemented.

Bi Han is going to be playable again as Noob Saibot and also can't forget the Sub-Zero kameo 💀 Sektor was done dirty in MKX and instead we got Triborg. After 13 years of waiting we get Sektor playable but not in the way everyone was hoping for (same thing with Cyrax). What was even the point of gender swapping Sektor and Cyrax if the ogs are Kameos. 💀 Ghostface was late to the party. They should have been playable in MKX Who even asked for another Terminator character, give us Deathstroke or Doom Slayer Mortal Kombat 1 has become something else lately.

You don’t think they would make a tower apart of the warrior shrine like they did Mortal Kombat 11 with the towers that were floating except it would be one tower for tag team online tag team off-line another tower a part of the warrior shrine. I think that the word is showing is going to be like that, and where you can compete also it said it in the date of mind by the thin clay says that there will be cameo fighting, which also could be a tower in the warriors shrine. Until then it is expectation and we both could be wrong. Mine just sounds more likely to happen than not which also could be wrong. A few thoughts- I'm waiting for the 4th holiday fatality because 3 is an odd number..... I think Animalities shouldn't be contingent on Mercy. I think Friendships should be possible through Mercy but it should be up to the losing fighter to either continue fighting or do a Friendship. This would make more sense.

Mercy was most certainly not a MK11 exclusive lol, it was definitely a thing introduced in 3. I don’t remember anymore if there were any requirements in 11, but I believe in 3 you could only perform a Mercy in the third round, meaning your opponent had to beat you in one round. And performing a Mercy was required for the Animality.

I think Mercies are a thing in MK1 because in some battles I somehow triggered a Mercy like thing where I had to fight the opponent again. I don't mean the next round in boss battles but one of the more normal battles in Invasions Mode.

Something else that's been missing for many years that I believe will finally be resurrected in this game is Kreate-a-Karacter. I think they're actually going to try & throw every game mode that's ever been asked for or expected along with create-a-character into this one. As disappointing as it was upon release, I get the feeling that in the end, it's going to be the greatest MK game ever by light years & knowing what they had planned could very well be the reason WB Games took such a chance by pushing it out the door so undeveloped. One year almost has passed & all they have done so far is tease. There was 3 characters used to create the kameo system. Shinnok was one of them. Knowing he's coming, NRS hasn't even dropped the slightest hint about him yet. So, how much have they been able to keep covered so far? How much did they actually have completed by the time the game was released that they are still withholding? Knowing that they have never stopped developing content yet. I think NRS is going to surprise people more than once with this game. The whole disappointment by depriving & then eventuality giving them what they wanted & then some has been a marketing strategy of NRS long before it was called NRS, when Midway was still a thing, they had started the kind of marketing strategy they are still using. And it doesn't even really bother me to see it & recognize it. It is kind of a relieving feeling, really.

All of the hybrid characters in Invasions mode are obvious hints at create-a-character returning but General Shao himself _and_ his battle ax are HUGE Armageddon Easter eggs related to that game's create-a-character mode that only the old schoolers will see. One of the most obvious characters you could create was a devil or Lucifer character & General Shao's face & horns are identical. A battle ax was among the weapons you could give to your characters & you would be hard-pressed to find someone that owned Armageddon & _DIDN'T_ have a devil with a battle ax saved to their memory card & most of the basic attacks & combos with the battle ax are even still the same.

Yeah in mk3 you had to do a Mercy to do animality and I believe it had to be 3rd round. I definitely remember in mk3 letting opponents get 1 round on purpose. Also babalities and friendships may have had same rules or partially.
