They are simply “what if” like endings. different from from game endings in street fighter were it’s crucial to there lore. Mileena killed Shao Kahn in her (mk9) nrs ending. But has never happened in the real story. Because Shao is more powerful. While M bison possessing Cammy in her Alpha ending actually happened. So power levels don’t count in NRS endings basically. Homelander would also have to defeat omni man. Which wouldn’t happen ether.
