An important note is that if you hit block (r2) after you go into fatal blow stance you will only launch the final stars. This is useful in combos because you don’t need to worry about gravity scaling cause you only do one hit right into fatal

One feature I like about Takeda is that if you mirror match Player 2 it mentions the old timeline meaning he is the Takeda from MKX. A nice way to incorporate the best of both worlds.

Mk x everyone loves it, i hated it and i love most Mk games all the way back from arcade time, the Mk 11 was rly good finally after x for me and mk1 is getting real good. and the reson i hated Mk x most was the Fatal blows that i wish they just took away from the game and if i should chose to have it, i will like it better with the non X-ray verison for MkX and Mk 1. the fatality and those movies are good, in fact idc if loosing i never use fatal blow i rather loose , i think its a thing that should be off for ranked play or just dont. i think im` pretty alone here, for me fatal blow just getting 40% for free and it just takes time to watch it in the gameplay too, most time i win even if they use it, its waste of time to hock bad players. ( yes it has some cool option in mk1 (the kameo braker and so on, i see effort in this too) from at least in mk 11 had that shitt look good as fatality does in mk 1. Anyway i love mk1 and seems the next update is very expensive so i wait for black Friday, i`m rely looking forward to the next season, little afraid the are overpowering the new characters. i just dont know before i see, scream was a in the begging like wtf, after the trailer it make some sense for master Kensi and the title of suprice from the movies seems like scream..

Probably not geras or quan chi they require a lot of game knowledge. Sub, scorp, johnny, Baraka, and raiden are really easy. Characters that require gimmicks or setups are something I'd wait to pick up especially since timings are strict and you need a good understanding of frame data.

@TrurUnderDawgGaming not sure how many people noticed this, anytime when it's a fight between two Takeda's... moves like: Ogre Slayer, Ryujin, and Twin Fang which end in triangle+circle change when you're player two for some reason? The ending button presses become triangle+x in a mirror match. I believe this also applies to his air combos ending with triangle+circle as well. Would like to know why that is?

Takeda has no solids mid, his arnor move is ass, his long range strings can be flawless blocked and when they are, they become super punishable....he's an OK character .

How is his armored move ass? And you can just not do the over head ending for a lot of the strings and they're safe. One of his strings, his F12 breaks armor if you time it right, too. He is one of those characters that have a high skill ceiling. He is nowhere near mid.

That's really bad cause he has weak defensive options. ...He's got no real staggers,he does have a good auto shimmey and high damage, so he has that going for him

Natara's dive kick, Lea mei's new pop up, stuff like this are good tools that they are going to help their characters a lot. They didn't realize that by doing that that some characters were just made unusable. I think that they also just didn't realize that the game is more fun when everyone is broken. I do wish that they started like this in the beginning because then Subzero wouldn't be worthless, but I guess better late then never. Subzero still SUCKS though.
