Johnny's pressure feels like Liu Kang's Mk11 variation 3 update. 12 is +3, which guarantees B123 with 9 frame startup, basically making B123 a 6 frame mid string that gives around 5% chip or a 25% combo. Definitely gonna give Johnny a try when i buy the game

Man it's so fucking stupid they nerfed Johnny but didn't touch kenshi or sub's ice clone. It would've been nice if they only took the invincibility of nut punch only if armor. It still hurts to see him get nerfed man

I agree. You still have Raiden and Shang who can loop and do 50% combos but they had to nerf JC... let the game develop and see how the community is reacting to it. It's so annoying had a day 1 nerf

You propably know already but you can combo of f1 2 3 with cryax you do the spinning thing after f1 2 then do the 3 and you recover to get a 11 shadow kick 25% is better then 13% plus you get meterless nutpunch combos of the same kameo

Wait til the opponent slightlyy lifts their head back up , dont mash or panic and try get your 214 in . If its blocked its not too much harm , hope this works for u 🙌

@@ddelchiaro no worries , if you consistently do it in practice mode it should work well , another tip for johnny is when you dash up , forward jump 2 it seems to work nice for me . And also hold your kano ball (if u use kano) and do shadow kick and release , its guaranteed pressure . F1 into grab works EVERY time too . I know this was covered in the video but these tips are the ones that work well for me . And also my friend im not calling you 'bad' im just trying to help you out but u may already know these tips , enjoy MK1 🤘

Hi I’m not sure if you know this or not but Johnny 2144 into Kano knives jails and into plus frames and if they get hit by the overhead you can combo into it.

Also if you time the kano knives during 214 before the overhead it’s a gimmick but you can jail 2144 again and it becomes a mind game because 2144 into knives jails f1 f3

2144 ends in a high though, and you cant combo into it

I'd like to ask, nearly any time there's a j2 in a combo, you can do j2,4,4 for more damage. It even does more damage than two j2s. Is there a reason you do that instead, or is this just overall better? I'd also like to ask: I've seen you use Cyrax a bit in online matches against others. Which one do you think is better between him and Kano?

It’s about conditioning your opponent, as went over in the video he has high starters that are plus. If your opponent is mashing a low attack you will get hit, so for example you get him to block your plus string, and instead of going for another high starter plus string go into your 9frame mid which is F3 then you make them explode

Bruh if they're gonna make np cost 2 bars they'd better make the damn thing plus on block and increase the hit stun so you get guaranteed pressure afterwards instead of just resetting neutral. Every other character out here is doing 50% but johnny can't? I hate nrs. Ever since mkx they've had a vendetta against cage, they try to nerf him into the ground in EVERY game.

The frame data from MK9 was sweet! I do like something close to MK9 frame data, so I'm expecting something very close from MK1. Seems good for now though.. Still early to see its full potential.. Definitely not like the horrible MK11 frame data.. Mortal Kombat definitely needs speed to be enjoyable.. Keep it up 🎉
