Johnny has a corner bomb set up with Cyrax, if youre juggling them in the corner end the combo with F1,2, cyrax bomb assist. It puts cryax further in the corner to where he doesn't blow up on you and if you hold the assist button he stays there for an extended period letting you mix up the opponent into the explosion with a F3,4 or F1,2,3. I was testing online and was surprised at how well it works

I used johnny f4 as a low crush more then a mixup. Legit a lot of great pokes are lows so people will stick out those d3s and d4s when you try to pull up on them. Hit them with the f4 a few times and they will start letting you get in for free.

Some great tips as I'm learning this for the first time. Thank you. Something interesting I found with Sonya as a cameo. Forward 3-2-1, the last hit summon a neutral Sonya. The opponent has enough height to get hit in the air by sonya, and furthering a longer combo string. Again, thanks for the ideas.

Kung Lao and and jax are apparently really good for setting up unblockables due to being able to hit with a low and his f4 Overhead simultaneously. Im not big brain enough to set that up though.

I find his charged b2 to be really useful meterless option when paired with a Sub-Zero Kameo. Freeze a juggled opponent mid-combo, charged b2 to force a restand, extend combo. Alternatively, after the restand, it's also the easiest way to land Johnny's Fatal Blow since it has a pretty slow startup.

Jonny is doing really well, actually you have to give it to him, even though I have absolutely no idea why Mark has been concentrating so much on the cages lately! where there is better than Jonny!!! Like Scorpion Subzero Liu Raiden Kung Lao!!! I think they meant too well with him in Mk1, and I definitely see some nerfs for various characters in the upcoming patches!! Including jonny baraka liu raiden, and they will also follow save!! just like I see a buff in some people!!!!!

not thinking kung lao is his first/second best kameo is wild. Low hat on point blank block is +2 which is either a guaranteed c. jab or pressure with strings after. on top of that the cool down is RIDICULOSLY low (really go check how fast it comes back after use). I can easily get 3 hats off with stagger pressure in one sequence. on top of that the low hat gives you safe gap closer (low hat plus kick) and post combo pressure (end combo in f1,2 into hold low hat for pressure and mix.) on top of his spin allowing you to get dumb high damage with nut punch. I think it offers way more then Kano TBH.

Idk but I figured out for the star power combo… if nut punch isn’t enhanced cyrax will send him flying. When u enhance it keeps him there so u can continue like in vid. Hope that helps

Hit the kameo but after you confirm nut punch don't hit it as it's connecting but after it connects and you should just barely get the final hit

Two different animations i use to help my timing. 1: as soon as you see the mist shit dissappear around johnny, press 2 2: as soon as you see the opponent stop holding their stomach press 2(like right as they begin to stand up straight)

Kitana didn't have a relevant overhead in MK11 either, it was a flawless blockable, punishable ender where the other option was high and punishable. Kitana's strength is in other areas, and thanks to throw requiring a true guess in MK- you still have fundamental hit/throw mix. To make up for her lack of high/low, she does a seriously relevant amount of damage for low or no meter, with amazing corner carry/positioning after her combos. Considering the opponent needs to neutral duck to avoid throws, and you have pretty decent mids, this all works out pretty well for her. She also can low profile projectiles with her guided fan and punish the opponent. Just random examples. She's strong.

I would say frost, sub comes out faster but frost hits low which is a great mixup and her freeze knocks them back quite a fair bit, gets them in the corner faster

@@jacobcozier501 Sareena is the easiest way to beef up your combos, just add her boomerang at the start of combos before launching. But, requiring a bit more effort but incredibly strong- Jax has amazing combo synergy with Raiden. Anytime you hit df2[the special move where he "grabs" you with electricity], you can have jax grab them before hitting they hit the ground at the end- giving you opportunity to extend basically any combo/hit into notable damage even without meter or a launching string. Cyrax is also very strong with Raiden- his followups for combos require a bit of timing, but you get to make most of the stuff you do completely safe by calling his "horizontal" spinning copter, and a lot of the time you'll have the opportunity to continue your pressure afterwards if cyrax is timed properly.

Invincibility means you are intangible and you won’t be in a state where you can be hit, normals will go through you, as well as projectiles too. His enhanced shadow kick just has normal armour.
