@@santino7470 To get a little more in depth, wether Bi Han is loyal to Shinnok or is simply interested in power, it is not clear, but, it's most likely the latter, his intros with Kuai Liang in MK 11 show him to be arrogant due to his new powers and disapproving of Sub Zero trying to convert The Lin Kuei to a force for good, to him, the clan should remain as cold, ruthless and brutal assassins. Kuai Liang is disappointed in seeing his brother is a brutal murderer that would be willing to make deals with Quan Chi and Shinnok in return for power and while he unwillingly became a wraith, losing his humanity, he embraced the dark powers even after being freed from Quan Chi's sorcery and numerous bios say his alliance to the Brotherhood of Shadows isn't out of loyalty as he is willing to bide his time for an opportunity to gain more power, he also hates Scorpion. Sektor is also not a stupid girlboss, Sektor is an insane ninja that believes turning his sect of the Lin Kuei into cyborgs will make them the most powerful ninjas, he convinced Cyrax to become a cyborg (something Cyrax regrets) and forced the process on Smoke, making Kuai Liang his enemy.

As to why he didn't regenerate, I believe that he can only recover from self-inflicted damage (I may be wrong). I did love the aesthetics and cinematics though, amongst other things. Boon said he has a lot of plans for MK1 so I feel like there might be a follow-up to this, and I hope he delivers...

Theory - For the next story, Liu Kang is able to successfully extract the all the Titan Havik magic from Bi-han, turning him back into Subzero.However the Noob "Shadow" becomes his own character and a clone of Bi-han representing his ego. Sektor then takes the cyber armor to the next level and possibly goes full android( Similar to Frost in MK 11).There was a lot of foreshadowing in this story concerning what Sektor's armor COULDNT do and I think she is going to go back and improve on every aspect of it.Cyrax will represent the balance between human's using intuition with technology( human with armor), while Sektor representing full transhumanism ( complete cybernetic)

In defense of Liu Kang not wanting to kill Titan Havik because of not knowing how he’s connected to his timeline and not wanting to kill innocents by killing Havik even though he killed Titan Shang Tsung. Here’s how this makes sense. In the main story it’s made clear that Liu Kang, Titan Shang Tsung, and the other titan time keepers aren’t aware of other timelines existing except their own. When Liu Kang killed Titan Shang Tsung and his timeline collapsed, Liu Kang was surprised meaning he didn’t know that would happen. So in the base game the concept of multiple timelines was a new concept for him and didn’t want to make the same mistake with another timeline

Hell, the story of Armageddon was good enough that when Netherealm came back in 2011 for MK9, they doubled-down on its merits by having Armageddon's conclusion be the catalyst for MK9. Deception, DA, Armageddon and MK9 stand out as probably the best storytelling done in any fighting game.

Honestly, when Mortal Kombat 2 inevitably drops, can we now finally move away from the entire timelines / multiverse thing? The way MK1 played out thus far, it is so far away from being the reboot that it was promising to be. The fact that noob was being super arrogant, defeated titan havik but got frozen by geras right after just didn't sit right with me. Worse part is that he didn't even get his redemption.
