@@mostkasualplayer9640 new creative ideas for including Kameo gameplay which was NRS idea just to come up something new, just because the whole timeline is a thing that the fans don't like, Don't forget that MK9 was not only was a reboot but continuation so which means there is bound to be some plot holes that have been almost forgotten until mk11 where the plot was revealed, And don't Mortal Kombat Legends also reveals to be alternate universe or timeline who or whatever you call it, which in snowblind shows The hourglass, they show the scenes from MK11 story and of course Kano being the keeper of time which was his ending, at this point there is likely no going back but If they reboot the story again then It would go a completely different route but they'll likely follow the source material but into a different direction for the whole Mortal Kombat story

Honestly, it’s just disappointing. They didn’t really do much with noob they should’ve done more with him we should’ve saw how Bi han became noob more scenes with that would’ve been better And I just don’t like the romance aspect of the story. It just doesn’t fit for Mortal Kombat. In my opinion I don’t know it’s overall mid. But the towers of time and all that and the improvements to invasion I like.

Unlike Aftermath, this feels like a taste of things to come....or rather just a first chapter of more story expansions. Looks like we're getting a re-telling of the 3D era games with everything going on in the story and character endings. But still, what MK needs is for them to let loose on the kameos, make their buttons much looser and less strict for hit confirming combos and Sub-Zero getting back his damage from pre release.

I believe that Empress Tanya was able to defeat Noob because of the fact that Titan Havik had his mind corrupted at that moment. Bi-Han's ambitions were still there but his quick thinking skills were being held back by Havik to prevent him from going rogue. He was able to defeat Scorpion since he knew his fighting pattern while he never fought a version of Tanya before so he couldn't adapt to her fighting style because of the handicap Havik put on him. But when they cleared Bi-Han of his handicap, he proves why Havik had to limit Bi-Han.

The story was a 6/10 started off good but ended horribly. Also, NRS needs to stop doing character chapters because there's no way Cyrax should beat Scorpion or Bi-han and Tanya shouldn't have beaten Noob. They also destroyed Kuai Liang's character because he treated Cyrax like crap even though she saved Harumi and had a good reason why she followed Bi-han.

They did Bi Han so dirty in the story! The trailers implied that he would've been a big evil threat that would've eventually have some sort of redemption... He should've beaten Cyrax and killed Scorpion or Harumi and then later escaped and sided with Havik instead of getting captured by him!

I think the big problem here is that the multiverse idea is a good idea but that can NEVER work here with such a small cast,when you see "Other universe" characters it doesent look like another character,it looks like the same character with a different skin BECAUSE WE BARELY SAW ANYTHING ABOUT THE "ORIGINAL" VERSION TO BEGIN WITH!!!! I mean what the "Other Cage" added to the story!? I know clearly they love this character bcs he is just EVERYWHERE but like cmon! The power level in mortal kombat is really really bad . The characters are not respected Cyrax beats sub-zero, scorpion,sub-zero, Don’t forgot sub-zero beats quan chi, shang tsung, Ermac Don’t forgot scorpion beats shao, rain, sun-zero ,havik , So that makes cyrax a most strong character in mk1

I disagree. Turning cyrax and sector into female girl bosses in cyber suits was a terrible move. First off, their story no longer has any weight. NRS chose to get rid of the cybernetic program that would have turned them into machines that would operate without free will or feelings, to carry out missions without prejudice. They would have to deal with essentially body horror. Instead we have lame cyber suits of amor they can take on and off. That whole storyline was an essential part of their character. These characters have to face little to no real adversity to achieve their goals. Cyrax is beating up important characters that are used to push the story forward. Cyrax was apparently newly recruited as lin que and is beating up her mentor and grandmaster. Ridiculous! The fact that they used exposition to explain that this was a life or death situation is a problem for me, it is a mortal kombat game it should be implied. This game feels souless. The villains no longer seem ruthless and daunting. It is no longer a battle a between good and evil. Everyone has some sort of plight or is misunderstood.

IF we do get another DLC expansion, then imagine it started off with a Havik chapter and it consists of him fighting other Titams like Titan Shao, Titan Baraka, Titan Noob, and Titan Sindel before taking over their timelines, then get back to the present and Liu Kand puts dude in a blackhole and Empress Tanya will be the new Titan. And that's just me being hopeful. Now here's me being realistic: It goes straight to General Shao's rebellion and that whole expansion consist of it. Then the post end credits scene is the reveal of Onaga who escaped Reiko and that leads us to MK13/2.

I have been playing Mortal Kombat for 20 Years if not more and I still cant get the combos to save my life, no matter what they do I will always ENJOY MORTAL KOMBAT. I am just having fun with it. Hanzo Hasashi is going to be the next Sub-Zero most likely. They're just going to swap the origins of Hanzo Hasashi and Kuai Liang. Hanzo will be Sub-Zero and Kuai Liang is going to remain Scorpion. I don't like it, but we can't control what they do with these beloved MK characters. First chapter was pretty good in this expansion. I had no problems with it. Everything that came afterwards was not good though in this expansion. MK 11 Aftermath was a great expansion compared to MK 1 Khaos Reigns. Titan Havik was a joke of a boss fight just like Titan Shang Tsung at the end of the MK 1 base game story mode. I enjoyed the Kronika fight from MK 11 more and WE ALL HATE KRONIKA. At least she felt more like a "Titan" should.

15:50 this is my favorite part of the Story, as a Noob Saibot main since MK Armageddon, I’ve watched him for years be a jobber in MK Story, now he’s in MK1 and imo my best version of him yet, I did love MK11’s Sickle combos’s do miss them, there was just no way to have a mixup and combo variation in MK11 but we got that now. And this time in Story he is a badass and he’s now taken down a Titan, pretty much a God like Liu Kang, This Havik even put a beat down on Liu Kang & his crew. Havik been whooping on other timelines main hero’s before getting here, but this Noob Saibot knew Havik’s ins and outs and was too much of a beast for Havik and he took his ass out by himself 1v1 it wasn’t Ego, it was confidence knowing Havik inside & out. Liu backed off bc he ain’t dumb, he knew the beating he already took.

I'm confused as to why Tanya stunning Noob was "woman empowerment". But Geris stopping Noob wasn't "black power" 🤔? Especially when Tanya beat everyone in her chapter, Noob beat everyone in his, but Geris couldn't stop himself from being kidnapped 🤨. Because I don't remember it being "woman empowerment" when Frost beat Quan Chi. Also, people threw a fir when Dvorah killed characters y'all cared about. So now characters died that noone cares about. And it's still a problem 😮‍💨. This the last MK game. I just know it 😒.

They've had a problem with characters winning and losing in story modes since MK9. The first fight of the tourney in MK9 is Reptile losing to Johnny. It was ridiculous to have the "You must prove yourself"/"Perfection is key" character become a scrub. They've been screwing up ever since. I don't understand why they can't just let us win the fight as id its a portion of the actual fight then show our character losing in the cutscene after. Instead, we have Cyrax beating Scorpion and Sub Zero right off the bat. The other major problem is the writing team. They straight up need to get rid of them.

There is a intro between cyrax and Liu kang that says this: Liu kang: "it is critical you join smoke in training young hanzo." Cyrax: "why? who is he to become?" That pretty much confirms Hanzo hasashi will be the new sub-zero.

I suppose they can reset a little by saying Titan Havik probably has created a Chaosrealm within the Titan Lui Kang timeline via his actions, rather than needing to leave portals to the Titan Havik Chaosrealm Timeline on the table. They could still keep Empress Tanya and kill off Mileena's Tanya to balance things out. You'd have two widowers in effect.

It would have been cool to see Havik successfully use the Kamidogu to merge all the timelines together and by the time all the main characters get to the gateway they realize it’s too late to stop Havik. I think the point of this expansion is to show how much Lui Kang is losing control. Havik was defeated by Noob. Noob Saibot is being primed to be stronger than Lui Kang and become the major threat. Lui has too many threats. I don’t see Lui on the winning side in the next game.

Mk2 really needs to answer what it means to be a god among men(mortals) it’s odd it’s only be alluded to that he created them and they feel no way. Sub feels like a slave being in his presence and thought process. Sindel died before processing it. And kitana seems to not mind. I think theh are setting up mileena to be the one to challenge him too.

The multiverse crap needs to end with the next story mode however it comes our way. Just off the top of my head, they could do something with Geras and the hourglass; some sort of sacrifice, and he could cut the timeline off from any interference from other timelines and titans.

Cyrax and Sektor beating Scorpion is bulshit but Cyrax beating Sub-Zero is not since Scorpion was helping i know Sektor was helping Sub-Zero but scorpion by himself could've took Sub-Zero and Sektor down. That tanya is an empress and also with Cyrax and since it was Tanya's chapter of course Noob is gonna lose they also done this since mk9. I understand that you're saying that empress tanya could take down Havik because Noob did and tanya beat noob but that's only because it was her chapter so it matters whose chapter it is in the story so tanya got lucky because it was her chapter
